Race to Hell 2024: una gara Infernale per Quad e Side-by-Side
Dal 23 al 26 febbraio 2024, la foresta dei Boschi Senesi nei pressi di Rapolano Terme si è trasformata in un inferno per i piloti di quad e side-by-side che hanno partecipato alla sesta edizione della Race to Hell.
Quattro giorni di intensa competizione (Epic competition), con percorsi diversi ogni giorno, hanno messo alla prova la resistenza e le capacità di guida (Technical riding) dei partecipanti. Tre le categorie in gara:
Spartan: la più impegnativa, riservata ai piloti più esperti (Extreme racing).
Cross Country: una versione light della Spartan.
Side by side: per i piloti di questi mezzi speciali (4x4 racing).
Nella Spartan, il duello è stato infuocato tra il francese Carmelo Gueli e il rumeno Anatoli Stanciu. Gueli ha avuto la meglio, conquistando il primo posto con un vantaggio di 25 minuti. Terzo il croato Mario Kovacic. Ottima la prestazione di Fabio Sauli, quarto al traguardo.
Nella Cross Country, vittoria a sorpresa del francese Frederick Lelar, che ha battuto il favorito Alex Bragaru per soli 30 secondi. Terzo posto per l'italiano Andrea Arrighi.
Nella Side by side, dominio incontrastato dell'equipaggio italiano composto da Weiner Morandi e Fabio Betussi. Secondi e terzi due equipaggi tedeschi.
La Race to Hell 2024 (Must-see event) ha confermato il suo status di evento imperdibile per gli appassionati di quad e side-by-side. Una gara estrema (Extreme racing) che richiede grande preparazione fisica e mentale, in un contesto paesaggistico davvero suggestivo.
Altri spunti interessanti:
La gara è stata caratterizzata da un meteo variabile, con pioggia e neve che hanno reso il percorso ancora più impegnativo (Mud bog).
Numerosi i ritiri, a dimostrazione della difficoltà della competizione (Enduro).

Race to Hell 2024: A Hellish Ride for Quad and Side-by-Side Competitors
From February 23 to 26, 2024, the Boschi Senesi forest near Rapolano Terme, Italy, turned into an inferno for quad and side-by-side riders who participated in the sixth edition of the Race to Hell.
Four days of intense competition (Epic competition), with different routes each day, tested the endurance and riding skills (Technical riding) of the participants. Three categories were contested:
Spartan: The most challenging, reserved for the most experienced riders (Extreme racing).
Cross Country: A light version of the Spartan.
Side by side: For riders of these special vehicles (4x4 racing).
In the Spartan, the duel was heated between Frenchman Carmelo Gueli and Romanian Anatoli Stanciu. Gueli prevailed, claiming first place with a 25-minute lead. Third was Croatian Mario Kovacic. Fabio Sauli performed admirably, finishing fourth.
In the Cross Country, there was a surprise victory for Frenchman Frederick Lelar, who beat the favorite Alex Bragaru by just 30 seconds. Third place went to Italian Andrea Arrighi.
In the Side by side, the Italian crew of Weiner Morandi and Fabio Betussi dominated. Two German crews finished second and third.
