I lived and worked in NY for many years when I was young. Regrettably, I have never visited the Met. It's because there are too many interesting places to see in NYC, and people tend to have different interests in different ages.
My uncle and auntie spent their whole life living in NYC and have never been there until I took them years ago. My great auntie stopped me to enter the Egyptian section that was my interest. She did not want to see the coffins 😮 Understood as a taboo of her senior age.

The painting and sculpture have different meanings for each element but if Americans understand the meaning behind them. Japanese knows it better and I shall select him as a companion to visit the museum. I don't mind you to join us in ikebana if you are interested.

大都會博物館 藏品多而且珍貴，很多中華民族的古老藝術瑰寶幸運地得以在美國被保存下來，讓我們有緣看到，真要感恩。
蕭生講述非常 仔細精彩，敬服蕭先生的博學多才，唯是攝影效果欠佳，展品多時被遊人身影所遮掩，這是唯一美中不足之處。
期待蕭生下次去倫敦參觀大英博物館的展品同時，順便做一個特輯，講解介紹大英博物館的 稀世藏品，讓我們能有欣賞的機會。

个幅画同天龙八部有点似喔
木造佛寺保存最好的並最古的，似乎是日本奈良縣斑鳩町的法隆寺（現存者約8世紀末，是人類文化遺產，已到過多次😊），可能與中國山西五臺山的南禪寺同期。中國人戰亂過多，又無民族信仰，古建築難保存。
