everyone uses shrapnel because of youtube. I personally like unstable bomber, frost vortex and w/e the pulse lightning shit is. Maining Frost Vortex right now - trying to make a whole kit of it. AK, SMG, and just got the shotgun today - i like variety.

I want to say that most of the bp frags for weapons on the map are hunter and the one directly under hunter I'm at work not sure the exact name. Most legendary weapons are not in the those 2 categories and you get most of their frags from the wish machine. If you burned through your starchrom and used up the frags it gave you it probably would be faster starting over but if its just the loot from the map no biggy they reset every season.
@@CamwayGaming You get all the types, not just hunter. every frag i got was operator and wanderer and only one hunter and im in the last area. game totally sucks, 80h wasted.

As a new player it's not easy to decide for one build since I don't even know all of the mods yet and they pretty drastically influence how a gear set or weapon effect works. I've seen a mod that just completely contradicted the effect, I think it was for Fortress Warfare and the mod was like "Yea so actually the whole Fortress Warfare effect does not apply, but something completely different happens" 🤣 I guess I have to find more mods now to help me decide for a build to grind for in the long run.

@@kirks730 The base spots in Red Sands will go way fast. For a good base spot I recommend setting up in an oil filed where one edge of the base is in a polluted zone those spots go fast though. Worst case is you just have to set up in a polluted zone and farm oil manually if all the oil field spots are taken. Oil field lets you get oil with water pumps and if in a polluted area get the water for making impure acid. You need a bunch of these late game.
Just wonder what is the best way to improve a blueprint. You buy the weapon once, and then what would be the best way to get blueprints of that specific category to make it better? Wish machine and cross fingers?
You can get blueprint fragments in mythical chests but those are limited. Other than that currently the wish machine. The design is supposed to be to make it take several seasons to max one blueprint

Ya I think they thought it would be an obvious mechanic due to other similar games but the games that have similar systems that I have played require you to get fragments of the same name to upgrade. The good news is blueprint progress carries over so you will have the opportunity to get more fragments next season.
The thing that worries me is going in on my build just for them to nerf the shit out of it. This company is terrible about communication with the community and nerfing stuff.
So far they did a better job than any other company with once human and they fix everything we complain about. I dont know about their previous game but you cant say that for this one it's the total opposite
ya lol but I don't want my water pumps to break and the way the rest slopes would require me to use the wall pumps to push water uphill if I were to raise it anymore.
How the heck do you find/get additional fragments to unlock weapons? I used my recurve bow to enhance some other gear rather than fusing it... now I want it for a build and haven't been able to find anything enough to unlock it again
Fragments are from the Mythical chests the ones that are one to each city. The other way is to get them from the wish machine. The idea is that you will not get all the fragments you need in one season. to get blueprints maxed would probably take 2-3 seasons of focusing only on one set.
They need to change that.. you should NOT be limited on frags and how much you can get and using the frags to make a gun should not gimp you on your account which is dumb for them to do that. They really F ppl up, new ppl that wants a new gun and learns the bp with the frags just to get their first gun. Frags should have a chance to drop a unlimited about of times, same with starchrom. They should least let you break up the guns into fragments. Shame you youtubers dont speak out about this because the only way around this is to make a new character which should not be a thing just to correct something you are not told about. Yall should speak out to the devs and stop overhyping this game.
Well you can only make the guns that you have the frags for you can level the gun you have turned into a blueprint up with frags from another gun in the same category so you are not losing out on weapons. As far as gimping I cleared everything solo with a 1 star purple gun so your not really gimped and I won plenty of pvp fights sometimes even 1v3. The system is designed for you to play several seasons to max a weapons quality. It is not meant to hit 5 star all gear in one go.
i thought this stuff was common sense? the fragments are like currency. color = rarity. Higher rarity = more XP for upgrading blueprints. the user has to make the choice if they want this weapon or that armor vs other ones. they also need to make the decision if they want to unlock shit or keep fragments for upgrading an already acquired blueprint. i dont see how so many people were confused by this lol. 90% of this shit is explained in the tooltips. Im not trying to dig at YOU or anything, I just find it very funny that people rely on youtube SO MUCH these days for games when they could just shut up and read the fucking screen in front of them and they would know what to do lol. anyway - rant over. Nice job of accurately explaining this for the people that cant read.

where is the best place to farm blueprint fragments for Yellow/Legendary Weapons?
The wish machine. You get a few from the mythic crates in each city other than that its the wish machine

Your base needs to be lifted. Walk outside press B, press Z and then use the mouse wheel to raise it above the ground then plop it back down 😊
