As a soloist Lisa only got 1 thing out rn. She literally dropped this as part of her first project. This song is the best out of the two she dropped. But she is THE BEST kpop dancer out rn for me. She makes custom dance videos and the quality of each one gets better as you go. lilifilm 3, 4, and Lilifilm the movie in that order are the top out of her series for me. They’re all short so you can watch them in one video. The songs she dances to are all bangers too.
I agree with every statement except the one part; her LILFILMs were not “custom” made. Some black ytbers talking about Cultural Appropriation called her out on those videos and even before then about her wearing Box braids. Not everything I agree with on certain topics of Appropriation, but I stand against Any, who takes from something or someone and doesn’t give/pay Hommage to its true Origins, no more no less.
I forgot the name, but this A.A. Woman made a highly Similar Choreo video just like Lisa’s FILMS, and That lady’s Fans made complaints about it, yet was never replied back to and such, only Lisa fans said that the lady and her fans were just Jealous and complaining just to get some “Clout”.

I don’t remember the exact details of the situation itself because it’s been a while. And hypothetically speaking if it WAS true there’s actually no way Lisa would know about it since she didn’t make the choreography itself. She uses her platform to give great people in the industry who deserve to shine a platform. Which is why she has Anthony direct her vidoes, Chesire make her choreo etc. Because it helps give them the clout they deserve and wouldn’t have had if she didn’t work with them. She chooses the song, the concept, helps tweak some dance stops, creates the vision for her vidoes ofc because that’s her brand but her main purpose in making LiLifilm was to let others shine.

When America’s music industry stopped doing traditional writing/composition for mainstream music, these talents had to find work elsewhere. More and more of them started pitching music to the South Korean music industry. In the 90s, SK was putting out 80s-sounding pop/hip-hop/etc. This definitely plays into kpop’s top quality tracks. They value the songwriters America tossed out.
To this day, kpop songs callback to 70-90s sounds. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve thought “this sounds like Aaliyah/Janet Jackson/etc.”
Adolescents attend academies to train in modern dance and singing. Some also get more classical dance training at other academies, and this can give them a real edge.

Lisa is RARE so RARE there hasn't been anyone like her before and I doubt for many many years after, if she had been snapped up by an American label or my country England, that girl would be TOP OF THE PILE. However in Korea she isn't liked she has as many haters as she has who love her. Talented stunning and extremely humble she isn't the kind you will see falling out of some club drunk or drugged.
Asian men and women tend to be petite and thin she doesn't starve herself that girl could eat what ever she wants and never get big. I LOVE MY LISA and I never fangirled over anyone but my husband.
The dancers are some of the best in Korea and are part of YG which is BLACKPINK and Lisa's label, K POP is not what it used to be since BTS and BLACKPINK have been crowned the biggest groups in the world and their recognition other labels in Korea are trying to get their very own successful acts they can't because BTS are unique and so are BP but no girl group has LISA. I like it but i feel like it's mostly entertaining for me just seeing an Asian girl dance and make a hit song that sounds heavily influenced by American culture like this.

Lisa built different. I´m not a kpop fan, i only like a couple of songs, but i just can´t help but adore her. Unmatched swag. Her other solo song Lalisa is more pop but it´s still hype and the music video production is crazy.
As a fellow hip hop fan, i´d recommend to react to blackpink´s "Pretty Savage" one of the live performances. There´s another group called (g)-idle, their rapper (who also happens to write their lyrics AND beats) is too good, i really like their songs Oh My God and Lion. Since we´re on the kpop topic, a virtual group called k/da is so worth watching (It´s a League of Legents product), their songs More, Pop Stars and Baddest blew me tf away with their music- and video production, the animation is just too sick.
I also think that you would enjoy cheking out Lisa´s dance videos on her own channel Lili´s Film. She really holds back her moves in order to not stand out too much when she´s with her group.
