This girl is incredibly good she should audition for a professional orchestra when she gets older. I’m a bass trombonist and I never really hear flutes that much. But this was beautiful Ive been playing trombone for 11 years (bass trombone for 8 years) currently finishing up high school
She is a superb human being. I watched a video of hers about an NYO2 tour in the Dominican Republic, and her comments and remarks about her experiences really impressed me immensely. She is so sagacious and generous.

Love the flute version but the main problem with it is in the breathing. Specially in the first movement the pace is so fast that the flute player unavoidably most of the times "enter" a bit late leaving a slight "unsavory" taste to the listeners ears. Violin players don't have that problem.
Ah yes! Most violinists have impeccable breath control, but all too few have the intonation and bowing skills to tackle a piece like this without making us wince.

Playing Like a Asiatic robot, everything learned perfectly but no soul 😢. Music have to have some "dirt" , even if she follows all signs it s even not close. The composition is great but she is far from a good performance

Despite the large production of classical musicians in China and their undeniable technical virtuosity, some believe that their musicality does not yet match that of European musicians. This could be due to cultural and historical differences, as Western musical traditions have a long history of stylistic refinement and interpretation. However, these Chinese musicians continue to progress rapidly, and the richness of their work suggests definitely a promising future.

Love the flute version but the main problem with it is in the breathing. Specially in the first movement the pace is so fast that the flute player unavoidably most of the times "enter" a bit late leaving a slight "unsavory" taste to the listeners ears. Violin players don't have that problem.

It’s an arrangement for flute written by Jean-Pierre Rampal and Khachaturian together. So it’s basically a flute concerto, too.
