I love this pattern, i’m going to use my fingerling yarn for this pattern! However that is not a treble crochet!! A treble is when you yarn over twice then pull through two, yarn over, pull through two, then yarn over one more time, then pull through remaining loops. I adore 🥰 this entire tutorial!!! You did such a great job!!! You are so very talented!!! Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial! I have been scouring the internet looking for this type of pattern for a while now!! So glad 🙂 I found you!! Sending love your way!!
Wow thanks a lot dear I’m searching this dress tutorial for infinity days but can’t find it. Your are amazing thank you for posting this gem 💎 it’s beautiful like you ❤️
I checked the playback tempo first. I thought it was programmed to be fast. hahaha no You crochet incredibly fast. And it looks easy. I am trying to crochet a wedding dress for my niece. I'm trying to work with you. Greetings from Hamburg in Germany.
🤣🤣🤩 I'm humbled by that. It's actually really easy, you'll confirm it when you start crocheting. All the best in your new project and please tag us when you're done.
@@GiveMeLifeAfrica1619 when you do your chains if you chain 5-10 then put the end of the chain on your hook it won't get twisted and will be there when you are done chaining so you just do the slip stitch together. Did I explain it so you know what I am trying to say?🙂
okay, that's what it's called! I knew I had seen something like that stitch before, I just couldn't put my finger on what it actually was. I thought maybe it was a herringbone treble, but I wasn't certain. These aren't stitches I grew up with :)
@@sybonaebarrett2836 the stitch she is using is actually called the extended double crochet, but she's calling it a treble crochet. From what I understand, it's a relatively new variation on an old stitch.
This is beautiful. Is there a written pattern? How do we make different sizes and determine how much yarn is needed for such sizes? (child, teen, women regular and women plus).
I am making one now, you just add 25 chains and measure if it fits and if it doesen't fit you add another 25 untill it fits. The pattern repeats every 25 chains so you just add another set of pattern for every 25 chains you have. I hope you understand😅(example, i added 25 cains so i made 1 more repeat of the pattern than what she did in the video)

Hi dear beautiful dress I love your teaching however I would like to make this dress for myself I'm a size 14 so that means that I just start chains to fix my waist I noticed that u had a little extra chains when you put it around your daughter do I need to have too
Thank you Marlene. Yes you do. Fit it as snuggly as I did with my daughter. The reason is; we’ll not have a zipper, hence making it easier to wear. The elastic band helps it fit well
Marilyn, you have the extra chains so that the elastic band makes sense using. But the main reason is, we’ll not use a zip, so the extra ‘space’ will help when putting on your dress. I’m not good at explaining in writing 🙈 but I explained in the video. Please Listen carefully, you’ll understand what I’m trying to explain.
May I ask what stitch that is? I've been crocheting for over 25 years, and I've never seen that stitch before. I'm curious to know what it's called. It's seems to have the height of what Americans call a treble crochet, but I know that's not what it is... Okay, listening further into your tutorial, I hear you calling that stitch a treble crochet, but whether you are American, or European, I'm sorry, but that isn't a treble crochet. It' might be a herringbone treble, but I'm not sure. I'm not trying to be difficult, I only mention this, because if a beginner comes and watches your tutorial, they are going to get it in their mind that what you are doing is a treble crochet. Then, when they watch any other video that uses a proper treble crochet, they are going to get very confused. A proper treble crochet, for Americans, is to yarn over twice, insert your hook in the the stitch (or space), yarn over, then pull through 2 loops, yarn over again, pull through 2 more loops, then yarn over once more, and pull through the last two loops. A proper treble crochet, for Europeans, is what Americans call the double crochet. Yarn over, insert your hook into the stitch (or space), yarn over, pull through 2 loops, yarn over again, and pull through the last 2 loops. Now, I've seen a stitch that is similar to what you are doing, and I think what I saw was called the herringbone double crochet. As I said, it's similar to what I see you doing, but I don't think it's the exact same as your stitch. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful stitch! It looks like it would create an interesting look, and it's something different, which I like. I'm just afraid of those new to the craft getting confused, that's all.
This is a very difficult pattern for me because you go way too fast for me. Also, your thumbs are covering up the holes so I cannot see what it is that you're doing. It has taken me all day just to do three rows. My spacing is way off from yours and I refuse to frog it so I'm just going to make it work. I'm bound and determined to finish it no matter how long it takes! Lol!
