This chanel not only got me into the "smaller" Locos but an even bigger interest in engines and how to build them.

That's cool and makes sense. Hopefully some day you will get the right of way to create a circle of track. Great updates, thank you.

I love how most of the things done at this railroad are almost always single-handedly done by Rick this is a first class operation

I love this channel for the low down and nitty gritty of railroading. Sweet

That is an interesting tool, I mostly see automatic tampers on maitenance trains

They put up some good track, gets it tight, hurts your hands. Ware hearing protection. We had a hydraulic one on the section truck tramp the head block and in the crotch of the switch. I really like looking at your track.big steel narrow gauge.

  • @gusshadleythelunaticfromar7125

Looks to be 24 in gauge with 132 lb rail. It's a a heavy duty haul line. Jitter bug we called . You got some good track.

Holy smokes what a tool, incredible demonstration of your operations, but damn must it be repetitive on you guys. Good luck with the maintenence and hope this season more people show up to support your cause.

    Your getting the tracks built
    You’ve got the trains
Now you just need to start rebuilding the forges and you’ll have the old smelters and industry back!

    Hey there fellow narrow guager.
I just saw a video on a channel called DK does stuff, it featured two narrow gauge steelworks locomotive sitting out in the woods in Ohio, might be something your organization might look into.

Maybe in the future, but those locomotives are pretty far gone and it would cost quite a bit just to transport them. However it would be a suitable home

Random question sir: Where did you get the clips/brackets that you used to attach the rails to the floor of the boxcar? I saved 40 feet of local historic rail from being scrapped back in October, and I would like to lay it on boards in my garage, in gauge.

Kimessteel.com has rail clips. They even have low profile steel ties if you would like to go that route.

@@YoungstownSteelHeritage Found them. Thank you! :) I took a look at the steel ties also. Those are pretty tempting too, though I would have to put something under each one to avoid rust stains on my garage floor.
