Keep in mind since her father came back in her life that's when things changed for the worst. This scene here is from season 1 and the case was similar to Abby personal situation. Her husband beat her and Olivia beat him up and saved her from him where in this case she helped bring the wife back to the husband. The wife wasn't the client. The husband was. He didn't beat his wife but she didn't want to be with her husband anymore. She did not love him anymore. Season 1 Abby was always judging somebody from Stephen to Quinn to even Olivia. Nobody was allowed to make a mistake or a bad choice as far as Abby was concerned. Season 6 was an entirely different change of the show. The focus was Mellie being elected president and Olivia was her campaign manager. The team was working for the campaign trail like they were for Fitz campaign trail.

What does that have to do with anything? Darby is an amazing actress and she plays her character astonishingly well. There is more to this show than just the actors' level of attractiveness. She is a phenomenal actress, and the chemistry between Washing and Stanchfield is captivating.
Regardless of whether she is Scarlet Johansson or Rosie O'Donnell, she has talent, she has power, and she has wits.
