Thank you!
the brain is the darkroom of the eye
one of the things I like about these is that they are one off creations like a daguerreotype.
CasedImage Thank you, yes - each is unique. I imagine them to be captured thought in a rectangle of paper
Fascinating!
Thanks!

amazing!
This I'm going to try! I'm struggling to understand why this video is not more popular. I saw this video a few months after it came out and have just rebound it. Brilliant.
Thank you !
Just found this video, though ive been tracking your work in Facebook groups for quite some time. It is beautiful and inspiring. I want to give this a try and hope to put into it some particular feelings I believe can't be expressed through common photographic processes. Thank you for this!
Thank you!
Fascinating process!
Thank you!
Hola. Admiro muchísimo tus trabajos de luminograma. Soy un aficionado de 66 años y amante de la fotografía analógica y alternativa. He estado buscando información de cómo hacer luminogramas y no encuentro nada. No pretendo que me diga como hace estas grandes obras pero si le agradecería mucho si me diera algunos consejos de que tengo que tener en cuenta para hacerlos. Se lo agradecería mucho, mucho, mucho. Saludos desde la isla de Gran Canaria
Super dooper
I really like these lumigrams! I tried it and result is I got a black paper when I develop it. Also tried shorter times, to light paper with match as well but still only black paper apperead.
Try really diluted developer and different light sources. Good luck!
@@mgjackson1 Thank you so much! I will definitely give it a second try!
Incredibly beautiful, so you have a workshop for this technique?
Fener Bahce Thank you. I am not planning any workshops on the process - it uses all basic standard darkroom chemicals and paper. You could save yourself a lot of workshop money and just experiment with light and paper.
Are there any objects though? The first print has a few straight lines on it. Cheers 😁
I sometimes add guide marks onto the paper Luke to help with placement of ideas. They initially started off as just a reference point for me but after a few years (after this film) I started making whole pieces based on lines.
I have never heard of this technique before. Is there a good set of reference material to learn how to do this? Can this be accomplished using digital photography equipment? This work is so beautiful! The Meltdownman
meltdownman1 Hi, thanks for your message. I would say that the luminogram process is quite darkroom specific as it uses silver gelatin paper - but digital is so limitless I would be surprised if there was not a way to get similar results. However I do think that the process has to marry up with the thinking behind it and not used as a carrier for just a specific look.
Astonishing
amazing!
Thank you!
