Got out of rehab 9 years ago. Played this song over and over and over. I realized that drinking wine and staying high wasn't the path to be on. Turned my ass around and went down another path. By the grace of God 10 years this month free and clean from the disease of addiction.
Same for me. I done rehab in 2011 kept using and some 18 mths in prison for distribution in 2017-18 and got clean while there. Come June I will have 5 years clean and I’m 48. Congrats to you. Keri I the good work. That’s awesome
My son too, beat drug addiction, I gotta show him this song. My ex and I found my son lying life less from his addiction 3 days in a row every 3 hours and God and lots of family prayers saved his life. Thank you Jesus Christ for saving my son. All I can honestly say is Kid Rock saved my life. I would be so depressed and want to end it all but I'd go to my garage and pull up his videos and smoke a cig and just relax and listen and before I knew it I'd be singing along and having a beer and wake up and realize that I don't really have it so bad. I feel as though my heart and soul has been ripped out of my body.....words can't decide how I'm feeling now... ..she was my only child and I didn't have her till I was 32.....I'm so lost......only thing that gets me through each day is knowing she's not in any pain anymore and she is walking with Jesus, my mom and dad and my grandparents but still it's a struggle every second of every day to get out of bed every day.... sorry didn't mean to rank on and on ..take care my friend....GN

HURT THEM MORE THAN ME!💔 I listen to this song every day to try to turn the corner and go down ANOTHER PATH! Sitting here alone I’m looking back at where I roamed , left Seattle Washington 5 years ago and went to South Carolina and today I have 5 years and 2 months sober and clean 🙏🏻 I have so many obstacles to overcome and I didn’t have to pick up a substance to get through them. Don’t give up I have been through hell my whole life and when I stopped playing the victim and became the VICTOR I was free and money can’t buy that. 😊🙏🏻
