I love the delft blue cloth calendar. I collect delft blue items, and it's the year I graduated from high school. I'd love to make a pillow or possibly frame it.
Hi Danielle! Loved all the items you thrifted. The doll is a little bisque doll probably made in Japan. Not a frozen Charlotte nor is it a Kewpie, but still adorable. I was once a collector and now I just admire.
I wish you lived near me. I have so many things you would love. My daughter and daughter-in-law just aren’t interested in my treasures. I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you.
You’re as pretty as the Victorian women you style your home after. Thank you for sharing your natural ability for decorating inspiring so many in this community to thrift for beautiful treasures. Happy Hunting!
*The embroidered piece of linen with the scotty dog and the bluebird is a "dresser scarf" made to use on a dresser to protect the top from scratches from the "pretties" ladies put on dressers like vanity trays, perfume, brush and comb set, etc.* *I love your set of glass doorknobs; you could use your single doorknob like a stopper on the top of a glass or a crystal vase or decanter. 😉 Your black and gold lamp and the burgundy color New Testament are both lovely❣️ The tussy mussy barrette is a FABULOUS find❣️ Probably from the late 1800's or early 1900's‼️😱* *The little porcelain baby doll is a knock-off of the bisque "kewpie doll". The kewpie was originally invented by an American woman cartoonist and illustrator in 1909, Rosie O'Neill, for use in her comic strip. In 1912 the kewpie was made into bisque dolls, and they had hearts on their chest. This is how you know your bisque doll is a knock off. In 1949 Effanbee Company started manufacturing full-size Kewpie baby dolls in hard plastic. My Mom had one of those.* *The collars you found are so lacy and pretty. I loved the cherub wall pocket and it's PERFECT as you styled and displayed it on your wall. I can't wait to see how your shadow box turns out‼️😎* *The jewelry, watch, scotty dog, cameo and other pieces you're planning on making into a multi-pendant necklace will look so pretty together❣️* *The brown two-toned shoes are called "saddle shoes" and they also came in a black and white color combination and were all the rage in the 1950's, and were worn with poodle skirts and sweater sets.🥰😉❤*
Danielle loved it all, especially the handmade jacket, the linens and the angel piece. I love your top today. I love your favorite piece too..doesn’t matter if it is damaged. ❤❤
I saw a vintage cameo necklace at a peddler’s mall today like the one you got but it was pink $15 now I want to go back and get it my grandmother had a brownish-black one when I was a child love your style
Danielle.. I love your hauls and videos!! I wish you would do more. I love yours if your home too! Doesn’t matter what season or if u change things. It’s fun just to watch one every 2 or 3 months! Love your channel!!❤
Oh my Goodness what great finds...... I love them all and how you put them in your home. The hair barrette for water and flowers. So Neat. I have collected a lot of vintage things you would love. I always enjoy your videos.
Good morning, Danielle. Wow, great finds. I have never done the bins. BTW, I visited Jazzy Junque on Saturday. Loved it. Great store with a great cause. I made sure to tell them I was there because of you. Was hoping I would run into you. Have a blessed day. 🌹🌹🌹
Great haul. I have a larger version of the brass lamp. Sage green is also my favorite color. Those calendars could have the top part framed. Ive been looking for a vintage table cloth like the one you found.
Definitely looks like a Kewpie doll! They were actually manufactured in my hometown, so we all have at least one of them here 😂 Kewpie was short for Cupid, and they were meant to not show gender so they could be gifted to anyone and they could choose.
Been looking for the cloth calendars, I want to make my husband & I each a Christmas stocking using calendars from the years we were born. I guess I’m having trouble finding them because we’re both considered “vintage”!😂
Danielle what a great haul!!!You found so many great items!!The earrings, the linens,The shallow wall piece you put that open work doilies in,etc.!!!!Enjoy your treasures, you style them so well!!!😁❤👍
i collect all kinds of one off type glass knobs an other glass objects and i wash them and keep them in a huge glass bowl and i always call it my glass bouquet ! the fun thing is that everyone who comes into my home always sits down and physically picks up an looks at all these glass objects an then a whole conversation ensues about all of them and people just seem to love seeing an talking about all the things . they even try to guess what some unknown items are or what they are for ! great fun and very interesting wonderful conversations that come out of it . i display this in the middle of my kitchen table like a center piece .
My grandma’s name was Edna May Loerstad. That looks like her name! What an awesome find! I love all the treasures you brought home. My goodwill workers have also told me they throw things away. So sad that we don’t cherish more.
This is a haul of epic proportions. It's so lovely that you save the lost treasures. Can't pick a favorite but art, doorknob, shoes, jewelry, glove box & cherub urn would have for sure come home with me.
The sweet little doll you found is a miniature Kewpie Doll. They used to be prizes at Fairs during the turn of the century and I believe up to the 1920's. You can find some in large sizes as well. They are so darling!
Yes, they were also popular around WW 2, and called Kewpie Dolls. My Mum had some and my sisters and I played with them as children in the 1950's, though ours were a little bigger than your one. Lovely finds Danielle 😊
Hello, Danielle ! .... Well, what a mixed bag of items. You certainly got a bit of everything on that thrift. Adore that pair of Earrings you got, certainly Art Deco. Such style and elegance .... A lot like yourself, of course ! Like the small Scottie Dog as well, that was a great find. Scottie Dogs are timeless, always in style. Well done you for spotting such a small item, you don't miss a trick ! Top video once again, I know I tell you every week, but it's so true. Thank you, lovely lady ❤️👏👍😘🇬🇧
Danielle you really hit the jackpot at the bins! I sure wish I had one in my area. I love to see how you style in your items and I am glad you and your mom have something fun to share in thrifting, that is precious to me as a grandmother to see mothers and daughters out shopping and liking the same things. I love to thrift and do makeovers on what I find.
Great haul! You are so fortunate that your mom enjoys going to the bins with you! I think the little blue and white "cameo" is possibly a Wedgewood piece. It at least has the look of one! The box that you shared at the end is a glove box. The loop on the top is to hold a glove stretcher. You'll see one in images if you google vintage glove box.
Danielle, what a wonderful, gorgeous and amazing haul. Every single piece is unique and lovely. The barrette is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing how you style and display it. I thought if I was a new bride, I’d style my gown and wedding reception around this “one of a kind” piece of jewelry. Linens are also my favorite. I place them all over my house. I also use them in gifts…by wrapping the present or covering a basket or box to make it prettier.
You always find the neat stuff! I like the charm necklaces and the hair barrette must be from an earlier century. Can you imagine somebody tossing it out? I have one of the small bisque babies like you bought also. It could be over a hundred years old. I have mine sitting in my hall on a bench with my china head doll collection. They were probably "penny" toys for children back in the day.
Mrs. B here. Cool treasures! The doll is NOT a Kewpie. I have my grandmother's from 1914. She had scarlet fever and all her toys had to be burned except the kewpie being ceramic designed by Rose O'Neil.
Hey Danielle! I love all the stuff you found!!! I would love to buy the 1975 Delph like calendar. I love blue and white, and I bought those blue ducks from you a couple of years ago that I love. Just let me know if you want to sell the calendar. I would love to put it in my kitchen!! Everything looks great1 you are such an inspiration!!!! Just let me know!! Sherry in Tennesse
Girl that barrette is epic - you might not find anything online because it is so rare to have all its parts intact. And yes the insert is for fresh flowers ❤ lovely haul!
I collect the linen calendars and use them as tea towels in my kitchen. I’ll be looking for yours for sale. Great things in your haul today-as usual. Love your channel Danielle.❤
Hello, I am not 100% sure, but I think your long box is for gloves. The loop on the inside of the lid I believe is to hold a glove stretching tool. The hair barrette is like nothing I have ever seen! The Dior shoes are stunning! Thank you for such genuine videos. So real!
I can’t remember who’s UA-cam channel I was watching, but it was a home tour and in the kitchen they took those vintage tea towels, so all different colors but they’re the same size and put them on a brass curtain rod with rings as café curtains and it was adorable
Hi Danielle, i was at Goodwill one day, and a worker was taking things off the shelves and putting them in a shopping cart, and i ask her what she was going to do with all that stuff she said throw it in the dumpster i said just to be trashed, she said yes.
I so appreciate the giving away what no longer meets a need or style & just keeps piling up. Our eldest son is getting married and moved out recently. His old room is now my sewing room 🎉. Phase 1 cleaning, painting, it's all happening here! Thanks for your inspiration Catherine. Less clutter or chaos is what we all need.
Girl I've gotten behind on all my favorite videos! I've had A super crazy past couple weeks🥴 So I'm trying to catch up! I've never been to the bins.. the closest one to where i lived in TN was an hour or more away. I've found one here where I've moved to in FL that's about 30-40 min away. So I plan to eventually make that little trip & ck it out! I've watched ladies on here find some awesome treasures! Love the painting of the house.. beautiful❤ Lol Free is always a win!😁 The Calendar with the delft print could be cut out & framed! It would make a beautiful picture, especially for someone who loves the blues & whites! The last one could actually be cut & framed. I would take the top part & tea stain it, it would look kind of primitive. I love the runner! I love anything hand stitched❤ My grandma always had those type runners on her dresser, she had so many of them!🥹 The table cloth is also beautiful. The RL pillow cover really is pretty! You should google lens the bag.. you'll find the age & value of it! Love the old glad door knobs, been looking for those & the old ceramic ones! The shiny brass planter.. just rub some antiquing wax on it & it'll look old! You can use it on most any type surface to age it.. metal, wood, cement(statues) ceramic.. really works great! Omg.. love the hanging Angel/cherub planter!! I have several different ones, i add them to gallery walls, with other pieces & just alone in a smaller space! Beautiful with greenery or florals! I just put a piece of floral foam in them to stick the stems in. Girl I absolutely love how & where you styled yours! Thanks for the idea😉 I'm sure I've mentioned that I'm a hoarder of old lamps.. love that one!!❤ I would definitely google Lens that lamp! I found an old brass on made sort of like it, with one candle & the entire piece including the shade is brass.. shade is just a little thinner. I google lensed it & its an old vintage remake of the lamps that were used in the captains quarters on the Titanic. It has A little metal label tacked on, once i cleaned it, it said something about the Titanic but can remember exactly what. We have everything in storage right now so i cant ck it🥴 But how cool right?! Love the bible..i love collecting old bibles & hymnals! The barrette is sweet!!😊 Did you use google lens on the barrette? If so & you didn't find it, it could be a one of a kind piece! Like someone had it especially made! Ohh the baby is precious..i want a frozen bisque baby so bad but they are so expensive!😞.. it looks more porcelain, like a really old kewpie. Bisque dolls are pourous & get dirt in the little pores, hard to clean. Porcelain ones aren't & are easily wiped clean. But I'm not quite sure.. lol another piece for the google Lens, you should find it there! It could be a gem! 🤷♀️ Girl you find the neatest things! I just need to make a trip & shop with you!😄 What state are your stores in!? I won't ask your town, i understand safety! The collars are so pretty! I recently found 2 really big plastic bags full of old jewelry.. some was junk, but a good bit of it was old vintage pieces & some was pretty expensive costume & a few real gold pieces. But I took the vintage pieces and made a couple little Vignettes & i love them!! I still have some pieces i haven't used yet tho..a shadow box sounds cool! I've been looking for a larger cameo, hope to find the rust color one.. but i want to put it on black velvet & put it in a frame! Would be gorgeous in a old bubble glass frame, but any antique or old frame I'll just remove the glass. Love the jewelry box & And the shoes. Wow.. such a great haul! I hope you find out some info on those pieces you weren't sure about! Always love how you style things! Now I'm going to the next video & jabber some more😄 TFS!

I’m in love with everything you found and how you styled it. You should definitely wear those brown shoes in the fall. They are beautiful. ❤ Also, would would I search on TikTok to see people making those necklaces?
Great haul. I have a friend that's a vintage reseller. She sells lots of tea towels with dates on them. You might want to list the calenders separately and not as a "lot".
I was watching another lady on here that was buying clothes for .99 at Goodwill because they were there too long & recorded the cashier saying if they don't sell them they go to the land fill. She recorded her because another customer was giving her attitude for being a reseller.
Everything was beautiful I love that brass round jewelry casket that you did not buy I love everything you did buy My phone went dead completely. I had to buy a new one Could you please send me the name of your store that you sell things, not the t-shirts and stuff but your antiques Thank you❤
My Grandma used to recycle her cloth calendars. She said they were designed to be used as kitchen hand towels once the year had past.
Yes, they make great kitchen towels.
Fantastic haul and just love your styling!❤

You find the most amazing things and I love the way that you style them!
You are so talented with your vintage finds! Love your Decor.
The little bisque doll is an antique Kewpie doll. At least that is what my mother called them. I have 2 she gave me from her childhood.
You are a vintage loving gem. I adore the ways you put things together. You have great style. I’d love to see you and your mom in action.
I wish you were on more often. I love seeing what we treasures you found. And seeing any new displays.

Mrs. B here. Cool treasures! The doll is NOT a Kewpie. I have my grandmother's from 1914. She had scarlet fever and all her toys had to be burned except the kewpie being ceramic designed by Rose O'Neil.
I saw a Country Living or Country Home magazine picture where they used the old cloth calendars to make Christmas stockings. They were adorable.
Great fines, Great video!💙💜🤎🖤

Your vintage vignettes express such a lovely Victorian vision.

Those calendars, if linen, are the best tea towels. Be careful soaking linens in oxy it will eat holes in any linens with metallics.
You always find great things
Where do you live? You got some FANTASTIC THINGS! Our bins have nothing like these beautiful things. I absolutely love the hair thing!
Yes, for knitting

I’m in love with everything you found and how you styled it. You should definitely wear those brown shoes in the fall. They are beautiful. ❤ Also, would would I search on TikTok to see people making those necklaces?
Such an amazing haul! Love it all!
The gold items are Hollywood regency. I just decorated a bedroom in it! 😊
So much cute stuff!
Great video thanks for sharing.
I’ve done well selling those calendars on eBay, they always sell!
Hi Danielle loved this haul. You and I should do a thrift collaboration I think it would be a lot of fun.
Great haul. I have a friend that's a vintage reseller. She sells lots of tea towels with dates on them. You might want to list the calenders separately and not as a "lot".
I think the name is "Edna Mae Hoelstein".
Loved. All the stuff
Delft's blauw. (Delft's blue) ❤
Edna May Brenton?...i believe it's a brand as well.
So many nice things!!
Lovely finds❤
The doll is a vintage Qupie
I was watching another lady on here that was buying clothes for .99 at Goodwill because they were there too long & recorded the cashier saying if they don't sell them they go to the land fill. She recorded her because another customer was giving her attitude for being a reseller.
Great haul girl ❤
Sooooo goooood! ❤❤❤
Everything was beautiful
I love that brass round jewelry casket that you did not buy
I love everything you did buy
My phone went dead completely. I had to buy a new one
Could you please send me the name of your store that you sell things, not the t-shirts and stuff but your antiques
Thank you❤
i believe they are called Cupie Dolls.
I love the bins!
Lovely lady 🇬🇧🇺🇸🌸🌸
