I prefer their "Black" to their "Pink" side, but we've had mostly black for their last few releases and they had promised a summer bop to end summer, this is certainly that. Lisa really shone in this, and with her international appeal it will help gain more fans of the song worldwide, likewise Jisoo singing in English too.

How do you guys feel about this song? I personally thought Rosé and Jisoo weren’t as present. Nonetheless, it was a great song, the energy was high and the set design was great. Lisa really came clutch with her verse. Kind of wish they were able to film together with Selena, but considering Covid it was a huge bust 🤯

I wasn't crazy about it when I first heard it, but it has grown on me throughout the day. Fun beat, some rock-solid Lisa parts, and they did a great job incorporating Selena; she felt like a real part of the song and not just a feature. It's not my favorit BP song by any stretch, as I wish it kind of went a bit bigger, but it's cool to see something different from BP.

Some part of the lyrics is so very Ariana Grande. Because she co-wrote it and it's a BOP, so good. Ariana did an amazing job writing some part of the lyrics and good job to the producers too❤❤

Jisoo is the Backbone of Blackpink!!! Even if she has less lines than the others, she stay positiv and support the others! Jisoo and Rosé hopefully will get more lines if they decided to promote the song in South Korea in music shows bc Selena isn’t gonna be there performing with them! In some parts when Selena was singing in the mv, Jisoo seems to be lip syncing with Selena, so I do think Jisoo is going to sing some of her parts!

The song slappsssss as expected but alot of us Blinks are concerned with the lack of Rosé-Jisoo lines.
Rosé is BP's main vocalist, Jisoo the lead vocalist but they only had a couple of lines (for Jisoo couple of lines and some adlibs).
Sure if they perform the song, they might give Selena's lines to Rosé and Jisoo but this song is 97% English (yep I did the math😂), and you know how Korea is strict with English songs. This means they won't get to perform this in music shows. The nail in the coffin here is clearly YG's mistreatment of the BLACKPINK members (now specifically at Rosé and Jisoo). 😭

I hope things get better for BP because they're only going to get bigger (despite them being the biggest girl group right now). I don't want the girls to feel discouraged as artists most likely not renew their contracts as BP 😭 (I don't wanna talk about this but this is a topic that should be discussed more)
