I’m sorry in advanced but I’m geeking out a bit in this comment so this will be a long entry. I hope you have the patience to read it through🌹
I like this one (I find particular enjoyment in the covers he do that goes a little harder ..for example Aces high (Iron maiden), Thunderstruck (ACDC), Tell no Tales (TNT) and his latest Carry on (Angra). But I have to ask you:
Where do you stand on classic power metal ?
I ask because you seem to like metal ..and Tommys covers. I thought it a shame for you not to go look for his original stuff (or maybe its just time for that) . Tommy is after all a power metal guy (singer, songwriter, composer and instrumentalist) he has put out 8 studio albums in that genre with his band ReinXeed, now Majestica (he also has a album out under the name Memories of old and one under the name Symphony of tragedy -but in those bands he was the singer not the songwriter).
I good way to start would be listening to his tribute to Reinxeed “The light 20 year celebration” (its on his channel). He wrote that song around 14-15 years of age and first recorded it at 18 (included on the very first ReinXeed album). The version on his channel is a re-recordning to celebrate 20 years with the band ReinXeed/Majestica
Unfortunately, there is not many music videos for his music (except for one glorious exception ..and I will come to that one).
From Majesticas “above the sky” album you have an official music video for the song with the same name. He also have a lyric video for “Rising tide” that I like very much
And from the ReinXeed 1912 album (released 2011, Tommy was 23-24 years of age) you have music videos for “We must go faster” and “Terror had begun” (1912 is a concept album based on the sinking of the titanic) ..the order is wrong on the album since the record company changed it without telling the band ..I have my own guess of order that at least tells the story line if you find yourself interested in it (and a public playlist on YT)
The glorious exception is his Majestica “A christmas carol “ album from 2020 (also a concept album …based on the story of Scrooge). It is written as a orchestral/symphonic power metal musical ..it is just waiting for a stage to be performed on ..for that album they have lots of songs with music videos ..but it is very much Christmas and if you don’t want to start early with christmas then December might be a good month to go look for that album.
