I am so happy that scorpion survived the temple crushing him because I honestly thought he died right there.
But he lived through a spike being through his chest and he is basically a fire spirit, so I probably should’ve expected that.

I think the explanation was that it wasn't a power Cage consciously tapped into until later in the series.
Johnny and later Cassie triggered the green power only when fighting. Even they don't know how it happens.

I liked MK games when I was a kid ! Now, I'm actually hoping there would be a "cooperative gameplay RPG adventure type" rather than the usual fighting game. Or at least a modded version like that.

Yeah at least in the original timeline he lived all the way to Armageddon, the reboot timeline however he and many others were killed by Sindel, and turned into a revenant, but he was permanently killed off and never revived unfortunately.

I don't remember this part of the movie. I probably watched a shorter version, because the movie I watched ended somewhere after the Scorpion kills Quan Chi.

The MK Legends movies are a separate continuity from the games/comics.
They are a different timeline but technically most of this events happened in the games, just a little different
