Moonstone Island is a game with clear strengths and faults in its mechanics, both inside and outside of battle. However, there is something about that title that I absolutely love; between the characters and battles, I found myself constantly returning to the game. It manages to stand out among its peers in the farming sim genre without feeling bloated or too different. It's a fresh take that I can't wait to see others have fun with.

I’ve been burned by so many of the games that tackle this genre so I’m naturally skeptical any time a new one arises. I’m glad to see NoisyPixel having a similar approach where they focus on what makes a game unique and stand out from the others!

I've tried the demo for this game and I can't believe how much fun I was having. The visual just right up my alley as well.

This one looks interesting. Might be a little more gameplay oriented than something like Stardew
I’m actually enjoying it more than stardew which surprised me. The fishing is worse, but I love monster collecting and deck building combat.
Hmm looks like it has potential, I wishlisted it but it needs to be polished, I won't be trying it out until it's received a couple updates.
So what about the farming system? The building your home where ever you want? The alchemy system? How do days work? Special islands with unique gathering and monsters? Are there shiny versions of monsters? What about a small hint to what the story leads up to?
I'm interested in that aspect of the game.
Why are we only talking about dating sim and monster catching?

there are shinies called holos that also have achievement tied to them. Idk the odds and stuff, i just stumbled upon one and didnt even have space for it.
