Дійсно, "божественний Богемець"! Браво, Чехія, що народжувала і народжує такі таланти!

Myslivecek's music has never disappointed me. Bohemia in central Europe plus Italian style in the rococo period plus his creativity just make great music. I have heard his beautiful music for wind instruments as well for voices but this is the 1st time for me to hear this violin concerto - what a gem! Thank you for the upload and "go Myslivevek, Il Boemo" !

Son mouvement central arrive à des profondeurs assez conséquentes et ses mélodies peuvent se retenir, bien qu'insuffisamment travaillées. Un grand artisan, solide et intéressant.
Had never heard of Myslivecek till he was played on Britain's Classical FM radio station this morning. They said Mozart greatly admired his music. That's a good enough recommendation for me!
It is a wonderful Violin Concerto! By listening to it, you really understand that Mozart and Myslivecek were friends. A splendid performance, especially the charming and sensitive performance of Shizuka Ishikawa.
Myslivecek was a Bohemian composer. He was a friend of Mozart, and died also relatiively young (43 years). This concerto is lovely since the soloist is evidenced and elegantly elaborated along with the traditional concerto form, but we do not have these useless formulas of virtuosity that make the music more conventional than interesting. .

Myslivecek seems to have that ability of composing music that's so natural and engaging, I've not heard a weak or dull piece from him.

I've heard it said that some of his pieces were in fact attributed to Mozart.
