+Leo hzm Serato Scratch live uses a timecode vinyl setup. It means I can physically manipulate the playback of digital audio files on my macbook using the turntables as an interface, thus preserving the hands-on control and feel of DJing with vinyl.
Because the tunes are mixed outside of the software, Serato Scratch Live does not include an internal record function, I've since updated my setup and I use a soundcard :)

ok thanks. Are there special featured turntables needed or how are tables and mac connected to transfer the timecode signal?
Any turntables will be fine, although the Relopp RP-8000's have built in hot cue/loop buttons that can be useful!
