It always blows my mind that people don't get outside shots of the downshifts in this car. I have this car and the downshifts are the best part about it.
I have a M140i and the downshifts are terrible compared to a DSG. XHP gearbox map did help a little!

I LOVE my 440 every time I get in it I am amazed lol. The exhaust often puts M4's to shame and has the looking over like "wtf is going on here". Drives like an absolute dream.

Mann, those 4 cilinder turbo engines these days are pretty quick but the sound of a straight 6 in itself makes it worth buying BMW.
Facts man. If you want to pay extra for sound only go with a inline 6.

My original 440 MPPSK with 360hp made 10.5 100-200. And with Stage 1 MHD 9.7s 100-200. Fully equiped and full tank. Something is wrong with this tuning.
MPPSK usually is measured with 380hp
But yes you are right, with 400hp this 440i should be faster than 11,x s 100-200:
9,5-10,0s should be realistic
Stage 1 Bootmod on 93+ octane fuel does sub 9s. This looks stock 🤣.

Steffen, may I ask (I know, you wrote your comment 2 years ago) how you measured your 100-200 time? Also with a Dragy (or Driftbox or whatever GPS system you could use for it)? Cause I‘ve seen a few videos about a Stage 1 tuning for the B58 and most if not all of them are around higher 10 seconds or low 11 seconds. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t doubt your times but I‘m curious. All the best from Bavaria, Philipp 👋

Either this is XDrive with completely filled gas tank, or the remap is not delivering the numbers.
It is not really faster than a stock 440i with MPPSK.
Probably the remap is to blame; they didn’t even remove the electronic limiter
Exactly. A 640D with stage 1does 4,6s to 100km/h...less power and heavier car.
It's MPPSK. But to be honest performs stock. A bootmod B58 is a LOT faster than this. This channel has done this many times.

the difference between the "m-performance exhaust" and the real MPPSK is like a different car, its astonishing. This sounds stock in comparison to a real 440i MPPSK

Nice, but this car is producing nowhere near 400bhp , 100 to 200s should be in the 10s if it was 400bhp
With my 300 hp Leon I do 13 seconds flat 100-200. So I see what you saying
A M2 Comp doing 10.5 with 410hp
I bought this car recently and the BMW M performance package will raise the hp from 325 to 360. Stage 1 is 400 hp. My guess it’s 360

10.9 for a 1.7ton Car with 400hp is normal

Brother this is not a daily. It uses easy 12-13 liters per 100km of driving. and if you drive a bit faster or on the Autobahn you have to calculated with 15-17 Liter per 100km..

@@questionyourself718 i have f36 440i with mppsk and i can show you my consumption its around 10 liters per 100km and i do short distances, on highway with 150kmph it doesnt go over 8.5-9, but if you have some fun its around 11 or 12. Rwd ofcourse

1:48 first launch wasnt great as it was struggling for traction. Second launch is always faster due to tire heat.
Electronically limited to 270 kmh ?!
Should run 300 with that power - already with stock power it’s running ca 275-280 (unlimited)
depends on the power curve, hp isnt everything
Also depends on the gear ratio.
with 326hp to go 280km/h, maybe in dream, to hit 300km/h it would need 550-600hp, or to recalibrate speedo to show 50km/h more
@@makantahi3731 nope 400hp is enough… the old e39 M5 with 400hp and the e9x M3 with 420hp can do 300 so can the 440i (and both of the cars don’t have their “real” hp that they should to from factory)
@@bimmerfan2672 yeah, that would be the fastest car with the lowest power, i watch all videos from auto top nl and i did not noticed any car that can hit even near 300km/h with less than 500hp, and i noticed that 90%of tested cars , speedo lies 10-20km/h at top speed, specially on bmw, and every km/h over 250km/h is very heavy and power needed, so if you know video where car with 400hp can go over 280km/h, with gps control speed, let me know😄

this bmw never has 400 horsepower, with a 0-100 in almost 5 seconds. a bmw 140i rear 340hp (with a slightly less weight) makes 4.6 ... so this 4 series will have 350hp no more.
That weird I have mppk 440i grand coupe and the exhaust sounds way louder. I can tell the North American muffler looks different than the euro version ours has m performance indented in the actual muffler. And when I draggy mine it gets closer to 4.35 sec 0-60 12.45 quarter mile. Might be due to elevation. I'm at 150ft above sea level
You probably have the full mppsk package - whereas the car in this vid just had the m performance exhaust.
