- I have been waiting so long! I finally get the chance to review the new 2021 Genesis GV80 Prestige with the twin turbo engine! A lot can be said about the flagship SUV from the winged Korean Luxury brand and today I cover some of the less talked about and more impressive features. Here in the U.S. we are spoiled for choice, but if you are looking to get Mercedes like style, BMW like technology and not have to drain your 401k to enjoy top tier vehicle ownership experience, you definitely need to consider the GV80 Prestige. I got the Cardiff Green 3.5T Prestige with Green and Smokey Brown Interior. And I must say that in person this thing is even more of a head turner. I've only had it a week and get people in awe and asking about it, taking pictures while on the road. I came out of the movie theater and caught a couple of kids taking selfies in front of it. I haven't even driven it to work yet and family members haven't even seen it yet. I can only imagine their reactions. This thing looks like NOTHING else on the road. People slow down on the road to get close to see what it is.

8:50 Passenger Seat Buttons. Designed to move seat forward to add more rear leg room. Does this feature still work if front seat is occupied, so you can piss the front passenger off? 😫

V6 tt ain't worth it unless it's the most expensive trim, so many stuff are exclusive to prestige trim. Why couldn't we get quilted nappa leather, 3D cluster, road preview, etc on the advanced or advanced plus trim? Not even a package, come on Genesis.
If other packages got the cool stuff, Prestige wouldn't be so prestigious. Just a guess.
@@MiguelMyCarGuy I was gonna get this with 7 seats but when I found out it can't be equipped with the stuff I mentioned above I cancelled my pre-order. I thought Genesis would stick with their original strategy where all you have to configure are the paint, engine and transmission.
There are 3 rows available, but if you genuinely need a 3 row vehicle, the Palisade will be much more practical.
@@MiguelMyCarGuy That's right. Tested the GV80, but the Pali Calligraphy was better for us since we needed a real third row and larger space.
I'm hunting for a 2.5 prestige but even that, 2.5 prestige also miss stuff 3.5 has like the 3d cluster is 3.5 prestige only

I can't take a dealership car off road. Maybe when Hyundai contacts me we can think of something similar, but so far I haven't received word back from their PR department.

Yep, she traded her Mercedes. One if the cleanest cars ever! I'm happy she bought it because its still going to look new in 7 years.
