The team select music in this game is FUCKING AWESOME! It TOTALLY beats UMVC3’s cheap, lazy one. You can tell that the composers put heart and soul into the music in this game! Nostalgia at it’s VERY best.
I always wished there was a way to play Ultimate but with the original soundtrack. I didn't like most of the remixed songs. These versions were better imo

Cranky the difference I know with the Ultimate version is that it has about twice the amount of stages (except they pretty much look identical with some background change, so the effort of stages was lazy if you ask me.) The big feature is that there’s some more fighters that weren’t in the original version. Now that ultimate marvel 3 is out all these years later I can say original marvel 3 roster was kinda meh. No strider no Phoenix Wright no megaman?????????? No Captain commando ultimate came out and at least gave us strider and Phoenix Wright but not megaman and Captain commando

no, ultimate is not only the version most people play, it also adds even more characters (namely Vergil and Phoenix Wright).
