That turbo sound 😁 I want to buy a car up to 15K Euros and since the used car market is terrible RN, I was thinking about getting a new Dacia Sandero (on stock without waiting) the only thing that makes me worried is the engine. I also want to use the car 2x a year for towing and to drive on highways once every month or second. Do You think this is good option as a second car?
That engine is very good and it has huge potentional on high mileage because it has indirect injection so there is no risk of carbonation. After long drive or hard driving let turbo cool up to minute and you will be fine.
What you hear in the video is really close to what you hear as a driver. The GoPro mics don't give you a good idea of the sound in the cabin, so I use an external mic which is placed near the bottom of the steering wheel. So yeah in this case, the turbo was quite loud.
I wish Dacia would go back to proper buttons instead of touch sensitive on the infotainment, in fact, I'd rather they just install a radio with buttons and knobs and no screen. I can put my phone on the dash if I was a screen. The infotainment is the things that turned me off the Sandero.
Thanks Marko! The engine was quite rumbly indeed. But hey, it's a cheap car and perfect for people who want something (probably) reliable that just brings them from point A to B.
Don't forget to subscribe! Many more POV test drives to come. :)
Nice design, looks good
Nice all round car - Goes surprisingly well for only a 3 cylinder 1.0 turbo engine in a larger family 5 door hatchback car...
It does go well but the Sandero is the same size as a Clio or a Polo, not exactly a huge car.

This car is incredibly loud 😮
Does it have any noise dampening?
Filmed in belgium by the looks of it. Sure it's a fine car, got one meself a couple of months ago
Which engine did you choose ?

Bellaaaa🥰
Thank you for this (:
Can you hear live in the cabin turbo intake and blow off sounds like in video or that is because of placement microphone near the bonnet?

¿Es con el cambio automático CVT?
Which model is the best in your opinion ? Duster/Sandero or stepaway ?
I've not tested the Duster and Sandero Stepway yet, so hard to tell. Both will be on the channel in 2022.
Is the ride comfortable?

I saw the lijn bus so you are from Belgium 😂 nice
Absolutely :)

Consommation moyenne ?
❤️
It seems that ride is quite unrefined and engine is very 'rumbly'. Anyway, good test drive, looking forward to more of your videos;)

If you'd change gears on time you won't notice the engine, not in an obtrusive way anyway
That's brussels motor way
1 litre engine is much better
