The beginning is almost a word for word retelling of the known story of world of warcrafts cosmology. Wise ones (light) dark ones (void) they banished the dark ones (void lords) to the place beyond the universe (twisting nether) and then the wise ones (light lords?) in the story of Warcraft the light banishes the void to the twisting nether and then vanished from our reality to their own place leaving constructs (slight speculation) called Naaru behind in order to impose their will on the living universe. So in other words the wise ones defeated the dark ones, sent them to the twisting nether then retreated to their own realm

Come on, if the units are millions of years old, it will probably be hundreds of thousands, if not millions of years to fail. Why TF try to kill everyone when there is almost definitely millennia to reverse engineer and fix the units.
The protagonist is acting like the dark ones are escaping real soon when they likely have ample time to fix things.
You see.. upon discovery I would have suggested contacting the S.C.P Foundation 😅
Search "why" in scp 3000 .
“The dark ones” “The wise ones” really bro...
Ok.
ok
not that weird, sometimes the names of civilizations just aren't known so subsitutes get used. The sea people for example, no-one knows who they were or what they were called but we call them the sea people. they came from no-where and just pillaged the heck out of Eygpt. (they were a sea faring human people btw, not like mermaids or something lol xD)
leaf241 I’m more saying it’s cliche.
@@spaceghost5629 That's fair
Dude had at the very least some info that could help us seal them back in but nah hopelessness is the way to go.

"I may have heaps of scientific evidence, including physical evidence, but it's not like anyone would believe me LOL lemme write a reddit post real quick"
There is a possibility that this could real.
Sadly no as there was no oxygen 500 million years ago so theres no way anything could live
@@Draven-tc3mn not necessarily. Some select few living organisms dont need oxygen. It's possible life could evolve using something else as a form of energy instead of oxygen.
It's a damn creepypasta and a lams one at that. They ripped off H.P Lovecraft

"he uses composition notebooks glad I killed him"
That is scary and I believe in the existence of the "old ones"!
I absolutely LOVED this story! I hope to God there's more to this story! Please tell this is the beginning of a series 🙏 😭.°
I loved this so much I've listened to this approximately 4 times since 5am...maybe because I just had surgery yesterday afternoon and pain pills are working!! 😆 🤣 😂
This plagiarised version of H.P. Lovecrafts At the Mountains of Madness. One of my favourite books, only beat by Shadow Over Innsmouth.
the beginning sounds like a cursed Zelda game
😂😂
For some reason I always picture Napoleon Dynamite when I listen to his stories
