This "Ultimate Ice" element suppressing all fire/ice types is really lame... they're like 30+ soul levels higher than Yuohao and it still works, so stupid!
In SL1, Ma Honjung and Bai Chenxiang fought in that water arena, IIRC they were lower soul levels than their opponents and at an elemental disadvantage (water beats fatty's fire) but they could still FIGHT.
Tang San was an OP MC, but Huo Yuhao is WAYYYY more OP + Lucky...
Also, Yuhao learned the Tang Techniques AND handling hidden weapons in what seemed like a few days/a week at most, where Tang san had practiced his previous life AND still had to break through lots of bottlenecks training...
Just doesn't make sense to me, because Tang San was this super goated prodigy in his previous life, then got born to two super OP parents... Huo yuhao is just a regular dude, skydream even said his meridians are bad/narrow and his body is weak.
I still enjoy peerless Tang clan, but it's really not even close to SL1. Just the animation has gotten a lot better.
In BTTH, it's evident that Queen Madusa captures more viewer attention than the main female lead, Xiao Xun'er. Additionally, I've noticed that Ma Xiaotao doesn't quite match the allure she had in the manga/comic; it seems the studio intentionally toned down her appeal to divert attention away from her character.
