What an amazing woman! Athing Mu is the real deal and the pride of New Jersey! She has a bright future in track and field and I wish her the absolute best ❤. She is truly a special once in a generation talent that is a natural runner.
She set the 600m record at Ocean Breeze Staten Island. Which is especially interesting to me, as a Staten Islander. Actually, at the same meet that she set the record, my son ran on the winning team in an exhibition 4x200.
Wow Athing Mu!!! I’m just meeting you through this UA-cam video. What a beautiful person you are and the people surrounding you. Your character and your faith shine through. It’s an honor to see you doing something so remarkable with your gifts and talents😇

Such a beautiful and powerful story of Athing's beauty and power as a person and athlete--I really appreciate everyone's comments and hope many more people get to know her and are inspired to become their best selves.
She has as smooth and steady of a stride as anybody can have. When she changes gears, her torso stays quiet and this makes her very deceptive to those who were once running along beside her. She can gain 2 strides in 2-3 seconds without looking like she is doing anything any different. Once she passes……good luck.
NJ represent 🙌🏻, legit one of the most competitive states for T&F, Keturah Orji got 5th in the Tokio Olympics and she’s also from NJ in my county, I would see her at track meets and she’d only need to jump once to win first every time
