Thank you so much for not ruining this awesome video with crappy metal music!! Just the sounds of engines, wind, and chirping tires... awesome! This is how all trail videos should be.
Amen Brother. So true. Adding music to trail riding RUINS the video. I'm always like, "we get it, you figured out how to layer music over you video just like everyone else on UTube". Lol.
Thanks for posting this Video. It was way better than some as it shows much of the typical terrain one would encounter (without a lot of distractions) when traversing Hell's Revenge trail. I hope to make that trip sometime in the future.
Awesome video Matt! Sure was nice to meet you and see the Hope Floats project in person. There definatly were some jerks on that trail. I felt as if all JK people look at us XJ guys like we're scum. Hope to see you down there again next year, we had a lot of fun! (The guy in the white XJ)
jk folks are just pissed that they spend tons of money for them there jeeps . when they could've just bought a xj that will do the same for way cheaper.
+SledSaint Jerks on the trail? say it ain't so. Probably came over from pirate4x4. lol Those guys are so stuck on themselves! I read but don't ask questions or say anything over there. lol
Does anyone know what that hooting noise is when he hit the deep bumps? My jeep been making that same noise when I turn and have a lot of weight on it and can't seem to figure out what it is
Damn Matt, seeing this video makes me just want to stop my project cherokee because that kind of place doesn't exist in Maryland. The closest place is 3 hours away in Pennsylvania close to Hershey park. Its a privately owned trail named Raush creek. If you ever wanna to make a road trip vid from Tennessee I got a group of guys who would be willing to accompany you. Cheers!
I love the Hope Floats XJ, got a XJ myself. Great video! It would be cool if you built a WJ 4,7 some day, the white one in the vid is nice! Any thoughts on that?
Hey Matt I was just wondering if you knew what size lift/tiers that green jeep Cherokee was running in this video? they look like 33's but i cant judge the size of the lift.
sam bell That's my buddy's XJ, mine is the white XJ and we have the same setup. We both have a 6.5" long arm Rough Country lift with 33" tires. He has Mickey Thompson Baja Claws and I have BFG KM2's
I have heard about Moab for years in 4x4 magazines and such, but it honestly just looks boring compared to the Southeast. I mean, I'm sure it's fun, but the scenery is just so vast and doesn't change enough. Just my opinion.

The xj is the best body jeep ever made please bring it back the Cherokee today looks like a soccer mom suv
Probably the best Jeep ride video ive seen. Awesome!
For some reason 13:38 reminds me of my childhood. Taking a toy truck and running it around in the dirt and rocks outside.
Great video, shows the easier parts of the trail and give us a view of what to expect. Thanks

Great video Matt. Looks like the XJ worked just fine and it really came out nice.
The video doesn't do lions backs justice, so steep. Love your jeep man!
Looks like a lot of fun!
Thumbs up for knowing when to do your own thing, good on ya
SO COOL!!! one day I'll make my Meca trip to Moab.
another great video, keep up the good work!
have you seen the lily quadcopter, wide open place like this would be really a different shots
Only issue is 20 min battery life
The best part is the part where you aren't a jerk yelling at people and don't roll your Jeep.

SledSaint ya I hope to make it out next year too... but this time I'll do my own trail rides!
I think we definately will too.

what size are your tires, and how many PSI were you running?
We're you in 4 low most of the time?
Awesome video, man!
Yes I was.

Robin Johansson sorry, Ive got no love for the WJ
Wj=Wuss jeep
travis atwood yj= yuppy jeep
Just got a jeep, curious if you use lockers on this trail. Rear? front ? both? on when you need them?
bk6271 lockers are not needed for this trail or probably 90% of Moab... there is just so much traction.
Damn hippies. :-)

Hey Matt I was wandering if you know what exhaust is in the white xj. I love how it sounds
PreMm_ That's my XJ! I have a Flowmaster Super 44 with a AFE header..... and there is a hole in the muffler haha
SledSaint holes in mufflers always make them sound badass.
Yeah, i never realized my Jeep was that loud until watching this video.
BleepinJeep I don't have a cat or muffler. Now that sounds good
SledSaint Thank you very much
Did you need to use your lockers on that trail?
Matt Smith No, it wasn't necessary.
where is that trail?
What is your opinion of the older xj vs the newer 97-01 style?
xstreets10 97+ has cup holders /thread
Good times.
there's nothing more annoying than a person trying to tell you how to wheel

+JunkSilver Disagree! Its an amazing place.
JunkSilver you have to experience it
Moab is amazing. If you want to really experience scenery changes, I recommend the Needles and Maze district of Canyonlands NP
5:27 sounds like a fart
Andy Ostensen LOL That's my buddy's jeep! At 5:00 he half way knocked his muffler off.
Why was real lion's back closed by hippies?
+Zealot RC they dont like jeepers
Sucks that the lions back was closed, not the end of the world though
This whole time it was remote control cars!
bad music on the trail..looks fun otherwise!
Baby lions back ? The easy bowl ?? WTF.. grow a pair...
This looks like a great place to ride a horse... with rubber shoes 🤔
Kid on the bike was not very cool.
