Great list! I think my favorite set this year was the 2024 Tins lol I know kinda a hot take. BUT, this was my first year playing/collecting YuGiOh, and the Tins being a reprint of the cards in the past year makes it super fun to open! The set size is too big, but I bought a case of Tins and had a lot of fun opening them in celebration of my first year getting into YuGiOh
Retro Pack has been my highlight. Something super awesome about pulling a classic Red-Eyes and Summoned Skull. Plus got my first Exodia piece from Retro. Childhood me would have lost it!
In terminal revenges defense, phantom of yubel secret prior to getting limited was a decent pull. Also loved RA02 although not as good as Rarity one I loved loved Bonanza has getting a hold of like machine dupe in QCR and clockwork night in QCR was sweet

My favorite set of the year has to be Quarter Century Bonanza, love the set up of both nostalgic and meta cards, and having a guaranteed luxury rare each pack makes it more fun to open, even if the cards aren't necessarily the highest value because I just like the visual effects of the cards.
My favorite set like probably many others is the QCR bonanza. There is is just so much the set offers for everybody. If you are a collector and or player it's good for everybody
My top 3 are 1 Bonanza 2 retro pack reprint 3 infinite forbidden. Bonanza and RP were just so filled with nostalgia and fun to open, INFO was the set that brought me back to yugioh so it’s special in a sentimental way but still has tons of great cards.
As a fan/collector of yugioh, 5 first sets ,retro pack, LODT reprint and stuff like that are awesome, but more if we talk about bonanza, Rarity collection and some like that sets, seeing retro cards being very shiny...man!!!!
I love how my first pre release booster box purchase was one of the most un-hyped.... yu gi oh is fun they said. Ill just Crossover back to pokemon TCG, I guess it seems to have way more going on and way better chases.
I agree with the list overall 👍,my favorite thing I've opened so far is the tin my first time gave me blue eyes and DMG qcr but as far as core sets,I haven't been able to open any yet but bonanza is #1 for sure I hope the next one is as good
My fav set was fersure Bonanza!! And I honestly really liked the tins that was about the time I got back into yugioh and had a lot of fun opening them up.
It makes me feel like an oldie but I truly am all for the nostalgia of opening yugioh packs, I can appreciate the new generation of yugioh cards but still to this day I will always favour the old retro cards. My most definite favourites are the Retro Pack, The Dueling Mirrors Tin and the Quarter Century Bonanza set :D
its hard to pick but infinite forbidden and terminal revenge both for different reasons the infinite forbidden brought my love back for opening packs as I got it on a whim and pulled a great card from the 1st pack and terminal revenge cause it reminded me of how fun and awful it is to try and get one card out of a whole set
My favorite is the quarter century bonanza. I mean if you have kids, it’s the perfect set to pick up and teach your kids how to play. It’s simple, it’s nostalgic, my kids started watching the anime and wanted to start playing because of the original cards. I collect newer cards, but even for me it’s kinda confusing 😅. But definitely an awesome set

Easily bonanza, but I enjoyed retro alot. Looking forward to stampede, hope they do some more common but huge anime hits like horn of the unicorn or reaper of the cards, harpies pet dragon, more toons, F-I-N-A-L, silver fang, feral imp, hitatsu me giant, ride Kaiser, la jinn, kuriboh, but I’d like so first time prints like magical pigeon for dmg, or a red eyes-blue eyes fusion, or a dmg of chaos. Tbh, even though it has multiple prints of different rarities in one set, bonanza sets are my favorite. You get the different rarities from old cards all the way to the newer cards
Bonanza is 100% my fav set of the year! Wasnt a big fan of the other RA collections, but bonanza is perfect for me as a collector :) I really liked seeing the oldschool retro pack 01 cards too tho. So maybe even that one :D
Yepyep, for sure Quarter Century Bonanza is my favourite this year. Playables, collectables and tons of nostalgia. I had a blast opening this set. And I disagree with you concerning the stinker of the year because there are CRs and QCRs available and of course the set earns some credit for playability. For me that is BLC1 because it is neither containing too many great cards nor is it remarkably collectable.
So far, my favorite set from Yu-Gi-Oh this year has to be 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II. I have yet to check out Rarity Collection 3: Quarter Century Bonanza.
I'll have to go with ROTA as my favorite, if entirely because the second wave of Mimighoul support didn't betray us and made the strategy actually playable

In 2025 I'm looking forward to the Supreme King Set. My favourite set from the list was certainly Bonanza, for sure. But it wasn't affordable for me, so my best set in 2024 was Battle of Legend Chapter 1.
No surprises on the top set of the year, I completely agree with that choice, althoughI would personally put that alongside Infinite Forbidden as that set had a lot of nostalgia for me! Next year's winner was already decided when they made the decision to make Pequeno Moth a QCR, haha! :D
I just think MⱯLICE is pretty cool. It's the Archetype this year that I've actually went through the trouble of making proxies to play, even if it was for a little bit. But... If I'm honest with myself, Rarity 3 was really good too. I'm quite tired of seeing 25th Anniversary Rare but the Nostalgia Pool being mostly Platinum Rares sounds great to me. God, it's so tough to call. Crossover Breakers has the Deck I wanna play and own but Rarity 3 has so many cards I'd love to have. For today, at this moment, Rarity 3 is my pick. Special shoutouts to Retro Pack. If they're gonna reprint old sets, they better keep "/NORMAL" out of it like Retro Pack.

As much as I hate the pull rate of RA03, I gotta admit that this set is my most favorite one of the year, simply because of all the Hero repirnts, especially Flame Wingman QCR!!!
There was a lot of great reprint sets and some meta changing cars *cough* mulchamy,fiend smith,* it's a good year but sadly no SD , at least we have the blue eyes SD that should have imperm, veiler, ash, nib, which I think is a Steal.

Gimmicky sets like Quarter Century Bonanza make opening packs so much more fun
All the rarity packs plus those retro boxes were amazing loved them all, really pushed me to keep getting more and starting my collection
Bonanza was definitely my favorite set this year with Retro as a close second. My fiance and I had a blast ripping packs to see all of the classics!

Rage of the abyss was definitely my favorite. The primite cards making normal monsters viable and the metalmorph retrains are amazing

Retro pack was my favorite due to the nostalgia it gave me reminding me of childhood times on the playground. Good times.

Definitely Bonanza. I haven‘t been collecting cards for a decade or so and this set brought me back - especially because of the nostalgia set.

The Infinite Forbidden is my favorite mainly because Exodia is one of my favorite cards and it got some support in it.

Bonanza was my favorite. I have to admit, I too chased Magia but to no avail. So Terminal Revenge was definitely a close second.
