That first story 🥺 losing a baby is not easy
Must read this paranormal labor experience story that happened to my stepmother in Berkeley CA!! Louie, this will have you question if what you and the girls saw while you were driving in the rain was a “ghostly figure” because in this story spirits can appear as a normal person! YES all flesh and bones! Still gives me goosebumps but it’s 100% true! If you guys do a part 2 of scary stories please read this one! It’s not scary scary but it’ll give you the chills for sure!! It may seem long but it’s a good one, promise!
So this happened to my stepmother when she was in labor with my brother. I wasn’t present for this day since I was with my birth mother for shared custody reasons. Also just a couple things to keep in mind before going into the depth of the story, I will be referring to my stepmother as ‘my mom’ because she is a mother figure to me. Secondly, my dad had a knee pain days prior and while they were there. Lastly, my mom felt “alone” because she wished her own mother could be of company during her labor or any relative at this point because she has all her family in Mexico.
Alright so my mom is feeling contractions and my dad took her to Alta Bates hospital here in Berkeley CA. As they walk in towards the front desk, they walk by bulletin boards with a bunch of random health info like any other hospital. But at a quick glance the only thing that stood out to them out of everything was a picture of an old lady employee. Side note: the picture will make sense at the end.
They go to check in and soon after they get them into a room on the labor and delivery floor. As usual, the doctor and a group of nurses come in and out of the room to check on her and make sure everything is good. As time passes by her contractions get worse and are very painful so she asks my dad to call someone. He does this but the nurse that walked in barely had any sympathy for my moms pain and says “oh you’ll be fine” and before she can walk out my dad asks her for some Tylenol or any pill killer that can help with his knee pain. She said “sorry I can’t give you anything” and walks out. My parents look at each other feeling helpless and both in pain for different reasons. Shortly after another nurse walks in and she has this very calming presence to her. There’s no one else in the room just the nurse and my parents. They didn’t recognize or know it yet but the nurse was the same old lady from the picture. Right away she asked them how they were doing and continued with conversation. During the conversation they both expressed their pains and my mom expressed multiple times that she wished her mother was there with her and even cried. The old lady nurse tells her, “I’m your momma for the day, everything will be ok” and she tries to ease my moms pain and gives her a foot and back massage. She then takes my mom to get a bath and helps her with everything after that. She even gave my dad a massage on his knee. Finally as she was about to leave the room she looks at my dad and says, “here,” she hands him a pill and says, “for your knee pain just don’t tell anyone I gave that to you” and gives him a smile. He says thank you and she exits the room. My parents then talk to each other about how grateful they felt for having that nurse around. Both my parents told me that after the massages, they felt so much relief. They described her having ‘magic hands’ because my dads knee pain went away as soon as she massaged it and took the medication.
As hours go by the old lady nurse stops in to check on them every once in a while but only when no one else is in the room. Finally my mom gives labor to my little brother, and my dads family came in after to meet him. My mom then tells my dad, “can you tell the old lady nurse to come because she really helped me a lot and I want to thank her for everything she did for me.” My cousins and aunt who were in the room at the time say, “oh yea we saw her down the hall pushing a cart. She paused to look at us and smiled but then went into another room.”
My dad waits for a bit then heads downstairs to the front desk but stops at the gift shop to buy the nurse some flowers as a gesture of gratitud for her help. He then goes to the front desk to ask for the old lady nurse. As he’s describing the nurse the receptionist gives my dad a confused look because the woman he is describing is “no one who works there” in her words. The receptionist then says, “are you talking about her?” and points to the picture on the board. He looks over and said “yes.” The receptionist tells him, “she passed away years ago and she used to be a labor and delivery nurse here.”
My dad walks up to the picture and sure enough it was a tribute to her with the date of her birth and death. He then goes back upstairs to the room to tell my mom and said, “remember the picture of the woman by the entrance? Well that was the old lady nurse who helped us but she passed away years ago.” They were all in shock! So were my cousins who saw her!
All my mom could think of and say was “she was a literal angel sent by God. She knew I needed the comfort.” They also say that it’s strange how they really thought she was real because of course they had felt her when she was massaging them and when she was bathing my mom. She felt and looked like a real person but all along it was spirit or angel in an appearance of a human.

if you ever do another story , pls read mine , mine isn’t that scary?? It was the year 2018, and it was a cold night..me,my sister and my bother all slept in the same room since we had other people living with us too , and while sleeping we had a heater on but that heater was old asff and out of nowhere my blanket catches on fire which then spread all around our room , the fire even circled us while we slept on the ground ..i was dead asleep not even realizing that the room had catched on fire and my sister was the first to wake up , she had told me “i woke up to my dad and tia next to me telling her to wake up because the rooms on fire” but my dad passed in 2015 and my tia had also passed a couple years before the fire accident so i was shocked cus they were already gone..and till this day my sister still vividly remembers my dad and my tias spirit telling her to wake up..if that never happened we would’ve been dead…

Let me tell y'all about my sleep paralysis. So during my life I have had multiple sleep paralysis. But this one that happened on 2016 around September was very scary. So I was sleeping next to my now ex husband lol. We lived in a two story apartment. And we would always leave the light downstairs on and our door open. I always liked some type of light in my room at night. Anyways I woke up to a sleep paralysis one night and I already knew that this could go two ways, me able to eventually move or something scary was gonna happen because of my previous experience with this. So i waited for a little bit to see what was gonna be. I was looking at the stairs hoping I wouldn't see nothing 🥺🙏. But suddenly a very fast shadow came upstairs right at me, this thing was floating on top of me but i couldn't see it and I looked at the wall next to my bed and I saw the shadow of a big bold muscelly man. It looked like the devils shadow. He brags my neck and tells me in a deep voice 'you're gonna learn this time' and I can see the shadow getting like inside my body like a spirit getting in me and then I was able to move and i woke up my man and told him everything. Everyone makes fun of me because they said he just wanted to be sexy with me lol but I was actually scared. Also I don't know what I was so post to learn. I had another one on 2019 that was the last one I had so far. But the one I told you guys about that was very scary and I still remember that shadow. He was kinda sexy too by just looking at the shadow 😂🙈🤦♀️.

My story is very similar to the one with the neighbor.
So when I was 6 or 7 my family moved in with my aunt cause her husband had passed away so she moved rooms to a smaller one and we too their old room cause it was bigger and obvi my whole family would be in this one room so the funeral had passed for my uncle it’s been a couple weeks I just got off school and was doing my homework and had the feeling that someone was playing with my hair I didn’t even turn around I jumped off the bed and down the hall I seen my aunt bathing my cousin in the sink so I talk to her a little I end up turning around looking down the hall and out comes my uncle walking out the room I was in down the hall wearing the exact same outfit and cowboy had he was burried in I told my aunt that Mike was coming down the hall she immediately turned around and he vanished she got upset with me and told me not to be saying things like that I told her it was true and we never talked about it again
