Speaking of premiums. I have a 2oz vintage Volkswagen bar that i paid $400 for several years ago in my stack. $200 an ounce is insane i know. Hope i can get that money back one day. Hurts to think about it sometimes ..

My budget for Silver is $120 to $240 per month, which means I can pick up between 3 to 7 ounces of Silver in any given month. My budget for Gold is about $80 per month, which means it takes me 3 to 4 months to buy a 1/10th ounce, and it usually takes me about 7 or 8 months to buy a 1/4th ounce. At Christmas, if I get a significant amount of holiday pay, I can usually must another couple of 1/10ths or one 1/4th ounce, which means that I usually manage about 7/10ths or 8/10ths of ounce of Gold per year. I'll be buying both Silver and Gold for as long as they are available for the amounts that I can muster in any given year. Will I be buying less as the price goes up? Yeah, but I'll still be buying. Why? Because it's the only actual savings account that a person can have in a world of declining and dying fiat currencies. Keep stacking!

Maples are collectable. Having one of each sovereign coin in your stackollection is OK. Otherwise, stack the lowest premium silver rounds you can because you will get spot for your sovereign coins, if you are lucky, same as the generic. Only exception so far is the American Silver Eagle.

Perth min kangaroos are ugly and prone to milk spots but great bang for buck stacking. The difference to Perth mints specialty series, kooks, koalas, wedgetails and dragons dont seem to be as bad so i like to collect date runs as the designs change yearly. I also colect maples, ASEs, Krugs and Libs by date. I am stacking but trying to build my collection a little bit orderly. Thanks!

I like Phillies, don't like Roos. Have some of both. There was a school of thought that Sovereigns would be better to have if silver came back into use as money, or that "coins" with a dollar amount or value on them would be better. I do not subscribe to that idea. Monetary unit values ain't gonna be there!

I try to spend about 150-200 dollars every paycheck (300-400 monthly) on silver, and I’m allowing myself some gold as well if I save my money and go once a month instead of twice. Stack on! Think of your stack in terms of ozs, not $$$!
