I hope Toronto has an outside Japantown with Japanese structures too of a torii gateway and Japanese torii style street light lampposts like in Japan has some so Torontonians be sightseeing a Japantown of it's own like the ones in the USA which is home to the largest Japanese population outside of Japan.

Brazil has the largest Japanese population outside Japan, not the US.

+@@viniciushayden No Canadian guy, no one never told me that, I only heard there are many Japanese in USA then Canada, there isn't many or no Japanese in brazil, it is just dark people in rio de janeiro or all forest amazon and brasilia, no Japanese in rio, could be maybe just hundreds or thousands like the Japanese in mexico or the European countries for example, the Japanese came to USA in 1880s three years after Canada in 1878!
It is not largest in the world outside Japan in the amazon, I don't think that makes sense, but I think maybe it's the largest in latin America and USA would have the largest Japanese population outside Japan, because many speak English very well, they don't know spanish very well, so not many move to south america like Europe, Africa or Asia as they don't know french, italian, portuguese or other languages like chinese or thai, they love Canada and America to go live there, many move to America and Canada then the amazon!

You are not entirely wrong, Japanese Brazilians are actually really close to the Japanese Americans population, but we still have a little more, and the migration started a little later than 1890
And yes, no Japanese in Rio, but a lot in São Paulo, biggest city in all Americas after all. We even have a Japanese Town with the Japanese street lamps as you mentioned! Authentic Japanese food, no avocado or spicy tuna bs.
There are actually way more Brazilians in Japan than Americans btw even though we have a slightly smaller population.

      +@@viniciushayden Are you Canadian right?
Because of looking at a video from Canada!
It's not wrong and I'm not wrong!
There are Japanese in mainland USA in 1880s, because there was a photo of Japanese Americans taken in 1880 in a video.
There were more Japanese, already in USA while 0 Japanese in brazil when it said "These early Issei immigrants came primarily from small towns and rural areas in the southern Japanese prefectures of Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, Kumamoto, and Fukuoka and most of them settled in either Hawaii or along the West Coast. The Japanese population in the United States grew from 148 in 1880 (mostly students) to 2,039 in 1890 and 24,326 by 1900." before 1909 to brazil, Japanese are larger in United States in Los Angeles, California or New York then in brazil's city, the biggest city in the Americas was an American city Los Angeles, because America has more people then brazil!
I read or heard in a video a women said it was a chinatown in sao paulo, because brazilians say there is an asiatown district called liberdade is a brazilian chinatown having chinese new years there when the chinese came to brazil in 1812 before the koreans and Japanese, but have chinese red and white lampposts, but they needed a chinese gate just like peru's chinatown have right that they plan also to built it there?
I didn't read anywhere if brazil has japntown, because it does not say japantown just like in peru doesn't!

@@Kawayoporu I’m currently living in Canada, but I’m from Brazil. I’m not saying you are wrong about these historical facts, I know Japanese went to the US much earlier than they did to Brazil (they went to Brazil around 1908) with the Kasato Maru boat, with also most people from rural areas, especially from Kyushu, Okinawa.
And yes, I’ve been to Liberdade a lot of times and it’s not a Chinatown. It’s never been officially named Japantown but once you go there, you will realize it’s Japanese. Actually, the subway station is called Japan - Liberdade, sure you will find Chinese just like elsewhere but it’s mostly Japanese.
