Kalevi Kiviniemi plays "Carillon" by Michel Corrette

Kalevi Kiviniemi plays "Carillon" by Michel Corrette (1709-1795), from "Nouveau Livre de noëls pour le Clavecin ou l’Orgue".
Historic Holzhay Organ was built by the organ builder Johann Nepomuk Holzhay in 1792-1797. It is located in the Abbey Church in Neresheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Restoration of the organ was carried out by the Swiss organ builder Kuhn in 1979.
Photographs of this video were taken during the recording session in June 2004, when we were recording Kiviniemi's CD "Canonnade" (OrganERA vol.8, FUGA-9205). "Carillon" was also recorded in the same session. Audio, photographs and editing by Mika Koivusalo.

You can hear every single overtone in the reverb flipping around in different orders. I really like the acoustics. But it needs to be played very articulated.

for what the place is, it needs more gold leaf . some of that can be brought out to the eye,,,,,, it needs more recognition with all the work that went into it. great music
