world Championship Blacksmiths Craig Trnka, CJF -Hackney shoe

World Championship Blacksmiths 2017 season is in full swing. Las Vegas is the last stop for the WCB crew. The judges for the National Championship in Las Vegas are Gene Lieser and Chad Chance. In this video Craig makes a hackney front shoe with brazed on jar caulks which is one of two shoes in the two man class. This shoe is made from 10" of 3/4' round. It is punched for six city head six nails. The shoe measures 4 1/2" wide and 6 1/8" long. The contest will be Dec 7-9, 2017.
