A true story: I'm from Bangladesh. This story is about my grandfather who was in his 20s during the liberation war (indo-pak ar or the bangladesh independence war) My grandfather were 4 brothers. And they all left east pakistan to survive the war as they were minority hindus. After the war was over, 3 of them choose to stay in Kolkata even despite having a lot of wealth in now Bangladesh. Now they do small business like, selling milk or working in a small shop. My grandfather one the other hand (one of the 4 brothers) came back to Bangladesh thinking it'd be a better life. But unfortunately, when they came back, their home was raided by our own people. They even took the window frame from the house. My grandfather still regrettes this decision. On the other hand, My other 3 grandparents regret their decision. So, It's not about the wealth. It's about grass, which is always greener on the other side..

A true story:
I'm from Bangladesh. This story is about my grandfather who was in his 20s during the liberation war (indo-pak ar or the bangladesh independence war)
My grandfather were 4 brothers. And they all left east pakistan to survive the war as they were minority hindus.
After the war was over, 3 of them choose to stay in Kolkata even despite having a lot of wealth in now Bangladesh. Now they do small business like, selling milk or working in a small shop.
My grandfather one the other hand (one of the 4 brothers) came back to Bangladesh thinking it'd be a better life.
But unfortunately, when they came back, their home was raided by our own people. They even took the window frame from the house.
My grandfather still regrettes this decision.
On the other hand, My other 3 grandparents regret their decision.
So, It's not about the wealth. It's about grass, which is always greener on the other side..
Appreciate the emotions bro.. Just wanted to address the issue with Humor
