The application fee for gaokao is 150 yuan which currently estimate to 1700 rupees.
Just to let you know, before our current government that fee would have been roughly 900 rupees. The value of Indian rupees has plumated a huge deal since the formation of our current government.

Its not economically viable for INDIA to conduct large exams like NEET, JEE in paper mode. Online based exam is best fit but the Administration must be very strict on paper setters and exam centre invigilation.👍

We have UPSC, who have successfully conducted paper. Why don't NTA work under it's supervision for some years??

Even the Ceena exam setting is expensive. Best is to use computer and different set questions given reandomly with individual passcode. Saves money and time.
In today's world, there is no need to "Set" a paper. It can happen automatically at runtime. And can be distributed online. No need to print too. If you really need to, you can print on the morning of the paper.

Bruh, China's Gaokao is highly controversial. First, it is like CUET, a complete pen-paper exam for students from various domains. So if we copy Gaokao then we'll have to merge NET, NEET, JEE, etc in one. Second, the marking is highly controversial with many cases of favouritism and differed mindset of the checkers. Possible in India. First all question setters are sent to Andaman and then cut of their all connections with country. After questions papers are made then those are printed in secret vault. Then the question papers are given Z+ security.
