I have a 1972 massey 135 with a 3cylinder perkins gas. It needed a rehaul on the engine and a new clutch the engine got the rehaul though after 5600hrs. I think that tractor is the most reliable tractor at 45 hp and 37hp at pto. I one day hope to redo the body make mine look that beautiful.
We had 3 135's and a 165 on our orchard. This was an amazing tractor that punched well above it's weight class. Finally replaced one with a Kubota to get the shuttle shift.
yeh nice job i dont think you could find a more reliable and tougher tractor than the 135 fergy they are the best they certanly dont make them like they use to thats for sure
Any new tractor could never compare to a massey 135. The new ones style are atrocious and there reliability and consumer friendly repairs are not of what they were. I have a 72 massey 135 and absolutely love it.
It's nice to see such a tractor again, good cooperation with senior retirees, and tractor friends .. too. That's well done. With more renovation an old tractor, the time will also go well! That is, good teamwork of a tractor club! ; )
Interesting that You think that it’s a 135 in ‘76. The 235s were out by then. Basically not much difference. Mostly just slightly different styling. Fergieman
Sorry Chris it seems I either offended you (not my intention) or you mis interpreted my comment, I was interested to know if there were any major differences with the industrial and the standard tractor. Were the industrial ones usually yellow and not red? Thanks for educating me regards some of the mechanical differences. Regards.
@@andrewprice28 I think i may have misinterpreted your comment, the Industrial tractors where yellow with grey engines, they were built very heavy compared with the normal tractors. Larger wheels and flat tires instead of the usual tires because they were not build for fields but rather for factories. Also the brakes are much heavier built and the rear arms are extra supported for heavy lifting.

Great work.
Due to the location ( position ) of the Headlights I am guessing that this Tractor was produced in the UK.

135 is bast tractor
why did you paint it red? isnt it the industrial version?
Clearly red when they started stripping it buddy.!! What makes you think it’s an industrial version?
@@andrewprice28 Industrial has larger brakes, bigger tpo arms, different Wheels etc. Its just a normal MF but built much heavier
@@andrewprice28 And im not your buddy so calm down before you think you know what you are talking about
