Melting the snow and the ice caps at the same time! Brilliant!

Obviously you are clueless to the other option of trucks burning diesel to haul this away.

Using a snow melter is cheaper and better, the same way putting a whole car wash in your backyard is cheaper than using a hose and soap. SNOW IS WATER, IT MELTS.

Snow blowing is used when it is possible ( in Finland).
We blow up to 16 tons of snow in one truck load in 3-4 minutes.
Melting suits when there is no idea of trucking for diffent reasons; distance, space, time etc.

Just gonna ignore the prep time it takes per 3-4 minute truck fill. We do the same thing in Canada, but it takes 2 sidewalk passes, and 3 grader passes, before sending the blower ahead with a truck, that 3-4 minutes is then multiplied by 6, at close to $200 per hour minimum. That’s about 25 minutes per truck load, though I will say, they probably fit a solid 50 to 100 yards of material in those trucks.
It’s still not bad for an operation that isn’t a minimum of 10 employees deep per operation.

Having a snow melter is a good idea and one way to deal with the white stuff.

Ok, you compared this to the dump trucks hauling it, but imagine this, you plow the snow, and put it in a pile. WOAH, THIS IS CRAZY! YOU DON'T NEED FUEL OR PEOPLE. IT'S LIKE MAKING GOD MELT THE SNOW!

      Obviously you don’t plow snow

Xxzx Dear Sir: You are correct in some situations, However there are sites (usually commercial) that in snowy areas do NOT have room available to have LARGE piles of snow taking up space for most of a winter. They hamper truck movements, the piles solidify so that in successive snows plows and equipment are severely damaged by pushing new snow on top of the 'rock hard' piles of old snow. Also tje cost of trucking this snow to off site dump zones sdds up very quickly. Also piles will melt slightly and refreeze leaving black ice which can cause slip and fall claims and vehicle crsshes. These machines do have a place in snow removal operations and careful decision making figuring in all relevant issues per site etc. I hope that helps explain the use of these machines.

NO ONE INVENTED SNOW MELTING. THIS HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE THE ICE AGE. Also, this guy didn't invent that machine. Look at the name on the machine. Use your eyes
