Thank you for the tour, Paul. Browsing through an electronic store is indeed a healing activity.

This is the branch opposite Yurakucho station.
It's actually quite small by BIC Camera standards.
Most of them make your average western electronics mega shop look like a village store

With the exchange rate being so good, do you think it would be a good idea to buy iPhones & a new MacBook there? I will be coming next month for my first time. Also where can I get cheap luggage? I usually travel carry on only but I plan to buy a lot when I get there so I’ll need luggage to take back home. I saw you showed luggage in this video but didn’t see the price. Just looking for the cheapest luggage since it will only be used once. I’m cool with used too

Hey jaymeez good morning from Tokyo. Well yes if you go to second hand stores in Akihabara like Janpara you can save 100-300 usd depending on iPhone or MacBook model. That said there’s the issue of condition and some iPhones are locked to carrier and their original owner so you have to be careful of to get burned. Cheap luggage? I would say try don quihote for cheap luggage or Akihabara Yodobashi camera for decent quality. Cheap luggage would be around 20,000¥ or so depending on size. I would recommend getting above that for quality. For used stuff try 2nd street shops for used clothes and bigger shops in countryside have more stuff maybe like luggage or fishing poles lol
