good day, jared! i just got my ve-5 two weeks ago and im still trying to figure out the best mic settings for live perfomances. i play in a 6-piece alternative band that has synthesizers/keyboards and guitars. i just want to know your recommended mic input settings/overall master volume/etc. :) in other words, a "go-to" setting that i dont have to think about tweaking every gig! cheers!
Hi dude thanks for popping a comment. Honestly I couldn't just say use THESE SETTINGS XYZ and be comfortable with saying that because ever mic and singer are different. What I could say though is watch through this video, take down the settings of this and video 2 and try apply them. THEN... KEY FACTOR, You gonna have to just get your input gain not to distort, do this by not turning on said programmed settings, once you got an optomised gain setting these settings from this video should be ae to apply to a rock singer, if squashing too much just lay back the compression THRESHOLD a little. I know this isn't an easy answer but as an engineer there are no cheats, yet, for individual mic gain. The mic she was using how ever was a behringer ultravoice which is pretty close to a 58

I think it did, at least a radio if my memory serves me well, double check by downloading the parameter manual of the unit, it'll show you all aspects

Robert Lund hi! it has the option of 1 harmony, you choose the key and the note an octave up or down. :)
if you want more the 1 harmony i know the ve20 does at least for 2.

Fix? As I'm save? Just save the patch, if my memory serves me correctly if you edit the patches they'd save I think auto let me double check though
It's in the manual I remember having to press the RIGHT button or something to save. It's an old unit so the software was a little tricky.
There is a way to program each patch though I just honestly can't remember how I did it this being many years ago
