Learning my progressed moon phase has really led me to understand what’s going on in my life right now. I’m in the last 6 months of a Progressed New Moon, and my Progressed moon just ingressed into Gemini in my 12th house a month ago. I’m excited to see how the seeds that I’ve been planting will start to bloom in my crescent phase.
I really loved this! I’m in the Balsamic Phase at the moment (which is also my natal phase) and I’ve been in the Waning half of the cycle through my late teens and entire 20’s. I definitely feel like a late bloomer. I’m now 29 and next year I finally go into the New Moon phase as well as having my Saturn Return AND the Nodes move into my 1st/7th house axis! So I’m hoping for a big shift in my life and to finally come into my own :)
I've got a similar story to you. The majority of my life my progressed moon's been waning and it only just moved into the waxing crescent phase August of this year. I'm very much a late bloomer & only beginning to see some blooming now.
This was so fantastic! I've been studying astrology on and off for about 30 years and I have never taken the time to look into progressed moon phases. I stopped the video a few times as I went along and to look at my own progressed charts over the years and at the age of 57, I only wish I'd looked into this sooner!
This was so excellent and educational! I really love the analogy of the mountain climber…going up with waxing phases and coming down with waning. And I can imagine adding to that passing climbers on your way down and what might you share/reflect with them based on your experience.
Thank you for this, it makes so much sense why all my life I have been low energy, directionless (now I hope this is main reason). Just now experienced progressed new moon and see changes happening and brewing in many spheres of life. I really hope this will help me to find some motivation and meaning to life.
Love all you ladies. Also love all of Casandras idiomatic expressions 😂 Thanks for the great video! Very informative and useful ❤️ Hope you all have happy holidays.
love you ladies! i recently started studying Progressed moon phases. How appropriate it is to hear about moon phases from The Water trio! i am in a first quarter moon same as my natal. I see the light but where is the end of the tunnel?
This was enlightening, thank you. I'm in my last quarter phase with prog new moon in 2026. I must say that Cass really hit it for me with everything she said.
This is so interesting! I had a progressed new moon 3.5 years ago while the progressed moon was out of bounds. Very dynamic internally initially, but the external manifestations quickly caught up 😂. Now the progressed moon has a bit of light and I can finally see somewhat of a path to move forward. I’m really excited to see what life looks like at the first quarter!
Thank you, ladies this was great! I have a question, is there any extra significance when your progressed moon is in the same phase that you were born under?
Hey, thanks for this overview. The progressed moon cycle is interesting. I have a question. My next progressed new moon starts in just over a year and will be a NN eclipse, and the full moon after that will be a SN eclipse. How long does the eclipse energy last in a progression and what can be expected in this time. I understand that the progressed moon phase lasts about 3 years, and the progressed sign transit is about 2.5, but what about an eclipse? What does it mean to have the eclipse energy extended as 1 day/year?
By this, do you mean your secondary progressed new moon phase (SP sun to SP moon) will conjoin your natal nodes? The length of time will depend on the speed of your natal moon which can turn a progressed phase from 3 - 4.5 years approx.
My first progressed New Moon was an eclipse! (During my exact sat return!) Oddly the following opening square and closing squares EXACTLY conjunct 2 of my Natal squares all at 0°. The opening square caused the sudden death of my partner conj my 0° sat/pluto square. The prog full moon was conj my MC/IC axis. And the closing square is in 3 years conj natal 0° ven/mars square. I was born on a new moon so all my progressed moon cycles also coincide with my natal Saturn cycles. My next prog new moon will be 1 month prior to my second Saturn return exact conjunction. I feel my chart is extremely dialed into progressed cycles for some reason.
What if in spirit I'm a hunter gatherer, and not a farmer with harvest cycles. I don't want to tether myself to cycles to protect myself from being farmed until inevitably I'm out of energy. Because it's unnatural and difficult I'm ill equipped to follow cycles. Is there a kind of astrology for people like me that just has something that is good for me that they don't want?
Do you not like St Anger? I know it gets a lot of flack, but I love it. Interestingly, James went into rehab has Mars - is Mc ruler, progressed from Libra to Scorpio and in range of his 4 degree Scorpio Mc. St Anger is the perfect motif for that \m/ Also, 3rd quarter SP lunar phase, which can be a tough one.
For some reason your podcast episodes won’t play. I have no trouble with other podcast. I’m loving this episode but would prefer to listen to it on the podcast

The moon progressions are SOOOO GOOD!
Mee too - at 49. Wish I could have taken an Astrology class in high school. It really should be an option.
So happy to see Y'all again. Got to see my progressed. Ty 🌟
My progressed Moon is in the disseminating phase in the sign of Sagittarius. My natal Moon is Balsamic in Aquarius.

Thank you very much. Next summer begin my Balsamic phase. Right now saturn and Neptune in Pisces 6H preparing me for that 😏.
Coming out of my saturn return and in a waxing progressed moon reaching full in a couple years✨️

Light returning to the progressed moon is GLORIOUS! Enjoy it!
Yes. I had jupiter going over my ascendant during end of balsamic. I did not get the bounty I was expecting
This was great! Thank you girls! I am about to start a New Moon fase.🌙
Thank you!

I guess that's draconic astrology for me then.

I find that some charts really speak to the lunar phases a lot too.
I hope your Saturn return and next NM cycle goes well for you
me watching this and realizing im gonna have my Saturn return at the same time my progressed new moon :D

But Cass, what Malefic was Metallica hitting when they released Saint Anger?
