@@PAADVENTURES1 yes it is. Used to go up there when I was a kid with my mum and dad in a caravan. Got dragged up Ben Nevis several times. Rediscovered my love of Scotland a few years back. Skye trip was great, been there a few times. I look forward to catching up on your previous videos.
Another fine video Paul. Wonderful weather with terrific views and nicely shot. Grandson Matthew, me and pal Andy did it last year, but in the opposite direction. Unfortunately, the clag rolled in just as we approached Stob Coire nan Lochan and we disappointedly got no views whatsoever on SCnL or Bidean, couldn't see off the summits, so it was good to see yours👍! Fortunately was better by time we got to Stob Coire Sgreamhach and sun shining in the Hidden Valley😀.

30 days until we leave! This will be our first stop after leaving Glasgow though our plan will just be to hike up to the Hidden Valley. Don't think we'll be climbing all the way to the peaks as we'll be fitting this in during our five hour drive to Dornee. Nice seeing the progression of your videos from this to your most recent.

Hi Peter, thanks for that! We did the full loop which meant going down from Stob coire nan Lochan and following the glen back to the car. It's the walkhighlands route in reverse. 16km, 1400m, and around 7 hours. Absolutely loved it. Comparable to Ben CRUACHAN for views. 🤔🏔 Thanks again Paul.

Ive had a couple of days out which i have footage off and will need a wee bit more to have enough for an upload on YT. Dont think i will be Munro bagging until february-ish i think as my fitness is zilcho at the moment only wee hills for a while. Made it up Dumyat last week but it was mega foggy and i stopped filming busy wee hill right enough will maybe try and head up again asap.

the last bit looks like a ladder, a 1,000 foot ladder hehehe, thanks again, this helped me get up to the hidden valley and then up beside the gorge where i flew my fpv drone inside the gorge, just out of this world, like a cathedral with waterfalls inside. i lost the light a bit but my last vid is the short version of flying inside the gorge so if youve ever wondered whats down there hehehe

Of you ever get the chance try finding loch tinker wee parked at the wrong bit wee went the long way up but well worth it when wee got to the loch and even managed a few wild brown trout
One of my favourite Munro adventures so far Alioban! We only intended visiting the hidden valley that day and decided we couldn’t miss out with the weather being what it was! I think this was November 😎 what a day! Cheers Paul

Great hike Paul it’s on my list as Bidean nam Bian is my holy grail but will take in all 3 and the lost valley is the final hill a munro ? It looks high enough but cannot see it getting classed as a munro on maps ? Thanks david
Its a brilliant day out David and probably one of my favourite walks so far....Leave it for the good weather and you will absolutely love it..The third hill is a Miunro top I think? Any info you think just ask! Briefly I would recommend the route we did. I prefer going up the stone shoot from the lost valley than going down it! Give yourself plenty of time, an early start from the three sisters car park is essential. Most of all watch for the weather! The views from up here are amazing! Don’t go if the weathers foul 😂😂😂
Thanks very much! To do the hidden valley and these two Munros I would recommend this clockwise route. In good conditions the gully up from the hidden valley is not too difficult, steep but ok….personally I would rather go up this gully than down but that’s just me. If you take your time I would say it’s straightforward. All that said however everyone is different with various levels of experience. In poor conditions it would be more difficult and with snow quite a challenge. Whatever route you choose enjoy and take care! Thanks again for watching and thanks for your comments. Cheers. Paul
It's a nice piece of yore.....but unless the McDonalds (clan) had access to a Chinook helicopter, there's no way anyone got a herd of cattle, highland or otherwise, up the incline that leads to the Hidden Valley.....it just didnae happen.
Hi, our intention that day was just to go for sh6walk up to the lost valley. It was only when we realised that the weather was going to be good that we did the two hills too! I think either way will be a great day out! Enjoy the walk, I am sure you will love it, cheers paul.
Hi! Doing the Lost Valley in a couple of weeks. Is the trail well signaled? On your footage, it sometimes looks like there is little trail to follow, but it might just look like that?
Hi Robin! If you are just doing the hidden valley and NOT the Munros then the path to the hidden valley should be relatively straightforward (obviously depending on your ability) there are no signs or way markers of any kind up to the hidden valley it would just be a matter of following the path. There are a few sections where the path crosses the burn that runs along the path so prepare for wet feet maybe! It’s a really popular place so the path is generally well defined. If you are planning on doing the Munros then that’s a completely different undertaking all together 🥴hope this helps and you have a fantastic day!! Paul

This video deserves thousands more views and I hope you get them. Do you take a bit of inspiration from the Scotland’s Mountains channel? You definitely bring your own individuality to things. Great hike Paul it’s on my list as Bidean nam Bian is my holy grail but will take in all 3 and the lost valley is the final hill a munro ? It looks high enough but cannot see it getting classed as a munro on maps ? Thanks david
Its a brilliant day out David and probably one of my favourite walks so far....Leave it for the good weather and you will absolutely love it..The third hill is a Miunro top I think? Just make sure you don't do what I did and headed off in the wrong direction! scary! cheers and thanks for watching! Paul.

Briefly I would recommend the route we did. I prefer going up the stone shoot from the lost valley than going down it! Give yourself plenty of time, an early start from the three sisters car park is essential. Most of all watch for the weather! The views from up here are amazing! Don’t go if the weathers foul 😂😂😂

Can I ask, is the scree gully difficult to get up? Is it manageable or would you recommend another route up? Thanks
Thanks very much! To do the hidden valley and these two Munros I would recommend this clockwise route.
In good conditions the gully up from the hidden valley is not too difficult, steep but ok….personally I would rather go up this gully than down but that’s just me. If you take your time I would say it’s straightforward. All that said however everyone is different with various levels of experience. In poor conditions it would be more difficult and with snow quite a challenge. Whatever route you choose enjoy and take care! Thanks again for watching and thanks for your comments. Cheers. Paul
It's a nice piece of yore.....but unless the McDonalds (clan) had access to a Chinook helicopter, there's no way anyone got a herd of cattle, highland or otherwise, up the incline that leads to the Hidden Valley.....it just didnae happen.

Hi, our intention that day was just to go for sh6walk up to the lost valley. It was only when we realised that the weather was going to be good that we did the two hills too! I think either way will be a great day out! Enjoy the walk, I am sure you will love it, cheers paul.
Hi! Doing the Lost Valley in a couple of weeks. Is the trail well signaled? On your footage, it sometimes looks like there is little trail to follow, but it might just look like that?
Hi Robin! If you are just doing the hidden valley and NOT the Munros then the path to the hidden valley should be relatively straightforward (obviously depending on your ability) there are no signs or way markers of any kind up to the hidden valley it would just be a matter of following the path. There are a few sections where the path crosses the burn that runs along the path so prepare for wet feet maybe! It’s a really popular place so the path is generally well defined.
If you are planning on doing the Munros then that’s a completely different undertaking all together 🥴hope this helps and you have a fantastic day!! Paul
