Weaving Mohair in Plain Weave on a Rigid Heddle Loom

In this video I go back to the simple life and weave a lovely mohair/silk blend scarf on my rigid heddle loom. This scarf is woven in plain weave with 3 colors of 70% kid mohair/30% silk yarn sett at 8 doubled epi and woven at 12 ppi. I hemstitch the ends and leave a fluffy 6" fringe.

Hi Grace, it is no wonder you have had an increase in followers, as your videos are so clear and concise. I love the way you focus on one project, and take us through all the steps, start to finish. What yummy yarn. It is so light and fluffy. Beautiful scarf. The hem stitching is interesting. It's almost an "x" ? And, what a sweet little loom!
