On the train to work - used to listen to this channel back in the day. For some reason this morning went to check if it was still going now I’m on a massive nostalgia trip to my early 20s ❤
@@subsoul Same here! Heard Blue You and Boiling at a pool bar in NZ back when it was released, been addicted to Disclosure ever since! I always come back to this video to listen to it since it wasn't released on spotify, thank you for keeping it up for so long!
Some class original beats from Disclosure back in their days just before their big break with Settle. Amazing tracks! I remember listening to these back in High School, crazy how the time has flown.
The comment not meant as a dis. It was meant in total astonishment and admiration. I grew up listening to the type of music you reference. My 1st electronic album was CJ Bolland's the 4th Sign. Quality. I met Daft Punk when Thomas Bangalter was only 19 at Bugged Out at Sankey's Soap. Anyhow glad you listen to quality tunes from history in spite of you being so young :-)
This EP was extraordinary; not only looking back now, but we all knew it even at the time. There wasn't much else similar to this back then. Joy O at a stretch, maybe koreless?? We had just come out of the future garage sounds and this funky upbeat vibe was mesmerising. Was gutted when their first album dropped and it wasn't of the same calibre of carnival. And then their 2nd album wasn't And then their 3rd album wasn't and so on.... fair play to them though. But man, ever since carnival I have wondered what would have happened to the electronic music scene if they carried on making tunes like this one 😮
I def see your point man, but they've mentioned themselves that none of their favorite artists made the same type of music on and on again. They always try to change and adapt to whatever's going on around them while at the same time not making crappy mainstream songs.
@@vrdnyn honestly, smart move on their part considering they are still relevant to this day, which not a lot of artists can say that blew up around the same time as them.
Can't believe these guys are only 17 and 20. They're not even old enough to have listened to the tunes their music embodies in spirt and nods its head along in reference to!
FlashyyyHD i agree 100%! I remember i had just gotten into UFO videos on youtube & this popped up. Thought it was UFO disclosure. Best mistake i ever made😁
...yeah give it time your understand one day why people say 'your only young'..lol I'm only 24 but get what this guys saying about age- experience, both good and bad, time to develop etc.... really does make all the difference.
They're bringing back where house originated from. I love the deep house and progressive sound. Not this "arena" house or big house that is what mainstream keeps infecting house with

Talent is just doing something. Conscious talent is thinking the verb before doing it; there. That should be the end towards overthinking as well as miscellaneous psychology “definings”.
Ever since i have read this comment i can't help but piss myself laughing when i listen to this song, you ruined it but enhanced it at the same time XD
12 plus years on and this still sounds way more futuristic than most music does today. Bring back the old disclosure!

I cannot describe how i feel when i hear this tune. Unreal.
This tune is serotonin depleatingly good...
I think I'm single-handedly dragging this song to 100k.. See you in Manchester & Notts!
This tune deserves more than just a 'like'. Bloody amazing.....
These boys single-handedly reinvented UK Garage. So much talent, it's giving me a headache...
the biggest mistake I've ever made was to sell my ticket to go see disclosure just cause they sold theirs. Even going alone would have made my world
Saw them in july at LOVEBOX. Probably one of the best days of my life to date.
***** I like that idea :)

since house like this originated in the 80s over 20 years ago, and this guy looks to be around 40, this could quite be his music you're listening too.
