When Kenny left Celtic in 1977 for Liverpool it was a sad loss. Took years to accept, but all Celtic fans loved to see his successes at Liverpool as their beloved prodigal son. Also, personally sad that on his return to Parkhead circa 1999-2000 it didn't quite work out with him and John Barnes as I hoped he would be as successful as a manager as a great player with us. One last comment. I share the same birthday as Kenny, 4th March, albeit 10 years younger, and had delusions of playing in the same team as him. Still, outwith football I think Kenny is a great guy.
