- 24 cats were set to be euthanized at an animal shelter, just days before Christmas. Celestial Zoo Pet Rescue found them all foster homes until they could be adopted through the rescue. See their shelter pictures vs happy and safe in their foster homes.

I know this should make me happy only, but I’m sitting here crying for these guys and can’t understand how . . . how could anyone put these babies down - just for being alive! I am so very thankful they were fortunate enough to be saved. Bless them all. 💕🌷💕 And bless you for helping them. 🐈 🪷 🐈⬛

I got a litter of 5 little boys at the same time from the same shelter. Unfortunately they all contracted panleuk just like hazel. It was awful. Luckily they all survived but the shelters need to be vaccinating these kiddos when they get them.
I'm am so so glad they all made it! Usually the odds with that virus aren't as good. That's amazing.
Yes shelters must vaccinate cats on intake! They are just too prone to sickness in a shelter situation.

I'm so glad these babies were rescued. They're all so sweet and adorable! Some of them remind me of one of my late cats whose time was almost up too.... who literally would watch over me for the rest of his life for many, many years!!!! I think sometimes the shy ones don't get picked as readily- of course those are who I tend to pick... or can't help but ask about :) Mine was the only cat in the back of his cage- probably scared after being found outside and then after being rescued still returned as his first owners moved- all before he was one!
and then nearly died! He was just such an amazing friend! Never underestimate a little time, or even just an introduction! As soon as I picked him up he was really friendly and we just clicked! Cats are smart- if you're a nice person and they figure out they are safe- even if it takes a little time- you'll have a best friend, sweet pea often snuggle bug!!!
Man, it would be such a waste for these sweet cats to just get killed

I already have 9 cats, all rescues but I want all of them too. It's hard work trying to keep them healthy, happy and my house clean but they are worth it.

Those cats are so lovely, number 2 in particular tugged at my heartstrings. It's shocking to think that, had they not been rescued, they would have been killed. Great work catville TNR.
