How to take panoramic pictures

Easily create a panoramic landscape image using a cheap (Ebay bought) nodal point panoramic tripod head.
I show you how to set it up with just a couple of pencils and a kitchen for help, take it in the field with practical shooting tips (remember shoot manual focus and exposure people!), and how to stitch the images together to produce perfect panoramas with no parallax errors.

The technique is the same John, but I do like pans so I may get a sturdy head for my tripod.

On site where the photos are taken the panoramic head is backwards..or the camera is on backwards... the center of the lens should be inline with the nodal point..

So you pan honrinzontaly, but can you in the same time pan verticaly ? (if you equipement allow you to rotate on the other axis)

I think you mean can you do a vertical pan up? If so, doing Panos that way is hard as your camera will distort when it is not level with the horizon.
