LOVED this video! Linda really did the most trying to get Wale to stop pursuing! But, clearly God will speak to the one who is for you and even if you try to run/relate to them in a way that is negative they will be on the same page as God and will not be deterred. That would be my biggest takeaway.
My biggest takeaway... most time we hear, do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. And sometimes we go as far as saying that if one is not anchored in Christ like we are, we wont pay attention to them as "they are not on our level". Some people need directions, some people need encouragement, some people need time, some people need inspiration. We need to be observant, patient and ask God to lead us all the time. It also reminds me of Joyce Meyer story with the husband. May God help us. And all relationship "dating with purpose" dont have the same path.
You don’t have to be perfect to be in a relationship! Sometimes I think I have to be super sweet and nice all the time but I realized I can be my complete self God will still give you the desire of my heart.
Biggest takeaway is to stop thinking things have to go exactly the way you think they will or have to be(even if God told you/showed you your mate). He will still work things together so that His will is done ❤. We can self sabotage, cant we?? Lol! I loved loved this episode. I just love how God works, He is so amazing!
Asha McDonnell 🙏🏾🙌🏾Thank you God that Asha and I will meet the man that you have strategically designed for us in your perfect timing. He will be all that you have called him to be. We pray Ephesians 3:20 over our future marriage. We praise you right now for blessed husbands that exceed above and beyond what we could even pray or think. Amen!
I loved that she waited for him to become stronger in his faith so that they could be equally yoked and supported him in that instead of lowering her standards
I can sooooo identify with their testimony! my husband and i were friends (and coworkers) for year during which he witnessed God's light & love in my life. He wanted to find the truth as well and he knew that i could help him with that. He thought he was christian but then fully turned is life over to Christ in the beginning of our dating relationship. oh the transformation and i can say I am blessed indeed. 8yrs strong this march :)
This is excellent example of growth into being equally yoked. Sometimes we get some caught up and highly in ourselves that we don’t offer grace to the other person so they can grow. Awesome testament to having patience and waiting on God
How they met is so interesting... How God led and protected/shielded her so that their courtship would have better focus, less temptation, and sanctified. it really encourages me to continue to stay close to God.
Can you do Pastor Mike Todd and Natalie Todd of Transformation church. And also Heather Lindsey and Cornelius Lindsey. That would be great for them to share there stories as well:)
Brit'nee Supernal Heather has a video on her channel, not sure how in depth the one is for Pastor Mike Todd and Natalie, but he does have a mini snippet on his channel.
The honesty of them both is refreshing. I am like Linda constantly trying to find reasons to stop a man from pursuing because he doesn't fit what I expect my husband to be. Takeaway is to trust God and not resist His plan and will for my future spouse.
Wow this really encouraged me!! I’m 5’11 and Nigerian as well. I’m believing that God will reveal my husband to me as well. I’m currently single and building a really strong relationship with God. This was definitely very helpful for me and motivated me to Keep trusting God for the impossible 😁
Wale is speaking my language. His advice at the end is something the Holy Spirit has taught me. I also like how grounded and discerning Linda was in the beginning. This was a great interview. Thanks Ashley, keep them coming.
They are a beautiful and inspiring couple. My biggest takeaway is to allow the man to chase you. If he is the man The Most High has for you, he will keep coming.
Ive been binge watching these episodes for 2 days and I...L❤VE... THIS ONE!😁 First, not being bias (because I'm a woman who is 5'11") and she's tall😀...But because of the dynamic of their WHOLE story! From both of them being believers... The way she exercised her faith and practiced obedience; to him wanting to see some of the examples/testimonies in the Bible come to fruition in his life in whichever way God was going to manifest it. Although he saw marriages "not surviving or standing on it's best leg" at the church he was attending, I feel like he still held on to Faith in his own way. Then look at the mighty works of God in their life after all.💖 To me, this is what beauty looks like. May God continue to bless their union and whatever is to come🙏🏽❤☮✝️ P.s. I absolutely love her voice. She reminds me of Ms.Naturally Mary (a UA-camr) , as well as a Believer whom I adore.
I know this is shallow. But I was excited that a 7ft guy had approached, since she’s 6’3 . To me tall girls have a right to have ask for height. Cute story!!
I’m 5’11” and I’m insecure and worried 💀 I can’t imagine being 6’3”! When girls are tall, it starts early, I’ve been this tall since I was 12. We do tend to stand out so we try to tone ourselves down like Linda is saying. I can’t count how many times I’ve been told I’m too good for someone or too intimidating.... it’s really frustrating
I’m 5’11 too! I was very insecure once upon a time...but now I love it...I learned to love myself and accept myself because if I don’t I won’t allow the right man too! 😻 ... we can’t change it So it’s better to accept it and live happily...i thank God for limbs ...even though they’re long lol 🙌🏽
WOW! I’m curious about their relationship now. Is she compassionate and affectionate? Are they close? Does their culture cause them to be more sterile with each other? So curious... cuz that was a rough start!
great message! I like that Linda made "mistakes" and God still lead her to something amazing. What grace. Also, would it be possible to see a segment featuring a couple who dated and/or married later in life, like met after they were 35? It would be great to see encouragement for us in the "prolonged but content" singles club. Thank you for your work Ashley
Look for things that encourage the oneness in our marriage .....💯 So true, we hear so much about how to get this and that but forget that if it's all about you or me then by definition we still single. Loved this story cos it kept going wrong till God brought it round!! 🙏 His ways are not our ways!
I LOVE THIS STORY. I can def relate to Linda I would’ve done the same thing if I was when Wale very first approached her. It’s funny she tried to run away her husband but God brought them together still! I’m so glad she was honest about her experiences with the Holy Spirit ! It’s real and God speaks to us all In different ways !
Thank you Ashley for sharing this amazing story with us. Jeremiah 29:11 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. So powerful 💪🏾🙏🏾 God bless you and your family abundantly 🙌🏾
This is very humbling for me...I had dated a man whom I liked but broke it off because I wanted a heavy church going man. I prayed to God about it though and know that everything happens for a reason. Be prayerful and not put God in a box. Always ask for confirmation.
As I was watching, I found myself frowning through this one.. I think it turned me off how she treated him BUT God was definitely in it because she would have driven him off....
Such a timely video, I’m at the verge of running from someone who is sincerely trying to get connected but I don’t want to be unequally yoked or get attached but I’m grateful for this video. Let Gods will be done🙌🏽
Loved this, thank you Ashley. Beautiful couple, love the playing hard to get story because sometimes fear can cause this. I’m always sceptical about “God told me this” stories but this was a nice union.
Wow!!! This is sooooo good!! I totally get where Linda is coming from especially being raised in the church!! It’s soooo important as believers that we must spread the gospel too and we can’t just turn our back on another believer because we’re unequally yoked, we have to remember that their soul is on the line!! If it’s meant to be GOD will make it happen💕
This was right on time. Thank you Ashely, Wale and Linda. Great Interview! Very encouraging as I am a single woman 5'10 and waiting on who God has for me. Not settling or limiting God in this area.
Hi lady Ashley greetings in Christ , thank you so much for sharing this beautiful love story of Linda & Wale truly encouraging for me. What stood out for for me was how God kept their dating relationship pure like brother and sister , Linda's strength in waiting for the one GOD showed her avoiding "messing'up her Destiny. Having Gods Peace is so important. The Lord Bless you and your ministry Ashley.
I’m trying to figure out if his sheets in the vision God gave to Linda were really creme color? 😜 lol but what a beautiful love story! All Glory to God❤️🙌🏾
wow. i absolutely love everything about these two. Really got me thinking about a lot of things especially after being single for like 5 years lol. I still have a lot of questions, but these episodes are really helpful.
Am 5'8 struggling to find a tall Christian man and she said 6'3 I was like Joy your husband is out there standing tall like a palm tree!!! Clothed in Christianity
Something seems very immature and ungodly about how she acted in the beginning. For me, those behaviors would have been red flags. Character is Godly and key!
I love their story. And they are a beautiful couple. However, I don’t believe that God choose our partner because you would give him the responsibility if it does not work.
While I felt she was a bit much in how she handled him in the beginning, it was her journey. She’s not ridiculous I just hope that she is truly into him because I’m not sure she fully expressed her desire for him. Kinda seems like she’s accepting him but not truly into him. I can be wrong but I just hope they both are equally are attracted to each other on all levels. (Mental, physically, spiritual)
I mean, I thought that also... But then I thought about people who are very in tune with God spiritually...the devil is really out here to confusen. Hes working working trying to shake and bake us, so people who are very in tune with God are seeking assurance from God which is what she did by praying many many times and getting confirmations. I think something big like marriage is a touchy topic that people take very very seriously so, i can relate to her ridiculous behavior. She was trying to be sure
What was your biggest takeaway from this episode?
To trust God's choice and his timing. Believe that who God has for me will pursue me. Always be prepared because it can happen suddenly.
LOVED this video! Linda really did the most trying to get Wale to stop pursuing! But, clearly God will speak to the one who is for you and even if you try to run/relate to them in a way that is negative they will be on the same page as God and will not be deterred. Everything 😩I’m honestly in a similar place as Linda, seeing a man who is an unbeliever and trying to get connected as a distraction to my walk
"the challenges of a horrible marriage are worse than the challenges of being single." wow, so so true and such an amazing reminder. love these two!
A. M. I. I loved this!

yanyell4 yesssss!!!!!
This is hard for me to accept. cause it feels like I am going backwards
Sister was doing everything to shake God's promise for her! May Jesus help us sisters (and brothers) to discern our true spouses.
I’m 6’3 too- This encouraged me so much! Thank you for sharing your story!
Tall glass of water ow owwww lol! So happy this encouraged you
Asha McDonnell Same girl! I’m 6’0. Im praying for a tall man 🙏🏾🙌🏾
Kendra Castleberry Lets believe God together!! They will come at the right time 🙌🏽
Asha McDonnell 🙏🏾🙌🏾Thank you God that Asha and I will meet the man that you have strategically designed for us in your perfect timing. He will be all that you have called him to be. I think there already is a dating with purpose video with Heather and Cornelius
Absolutely! Great suggestions :-)
Omg yes, Pst Mike and Natalie Todd would be a great couple to interview. I would love to hear their story!
Yes!! I would love to see that
Great story I'm glad he kept pursuing her not only that trusting and building a relationship with God to get to a God Fearing Men
Meich Queen Right!!

Great video, I love how God works; even though she was running God said nope, this is your husband!
Same here! :-)
They are a beautiful and inspiring couple. My biggest takeaway is to allow the man to chase you. If he is the man The Most High has for you, he will keep coming.
L L - So if a man does not "chase" you, then he has not shown enough interest.
I love Linda’s bluntness!! It’s not a “Fairy Tale” story!!
Ive been binge watching these episodes for 2 days and I...L❤VE... THIS ONE!😁

The peace of the Lord. There’s nothing like that.
Absolutely Powerful
Awesome testimony of a prophectic marriage!
Agreed!
Ashley !!! You carry yourself so well and you are great at keeping the authenticity in an interview !! Love it . Great work 🙏🏽🙏🏽🕊
You can't stop what God has planned for you!! What your eyes can't see God has seen, blessed to hear this story, thank you for sharing 🙏🏾

I'm 5'8 and guys were so intimidated when I wore heels. I mostly attract short guys lol.
He is so patient….. that is amazing
6'3 and 7 feet. Chile, their children will be able to play in the NBA or WNBA at the age of 5. 😂 Beautiful couple. Tfs
I love their transparency and there are so many lessons from their story. God bless their marriage.
Love Linda and Wale! Love their testimony!
This is great stuff. Wow! Thank them for being so TRUTHFUL. Amen
Right!
Dating with a purpose is well needed, and gives me hope ❤️
WOW! I’m curious about their relationship now. Is she compassionate and affectionate? Are they close? Does their culture cause them to be more sterile with each other? So curious... cuz that was a rough start!
yh, I don't think she really liked him at all. well at first.
When God sends my husband ill like to be apart of your show!😁
Ash would love it!! 💖
Me too!!!
Me too!!
Awwwwe Amen, That's cute, I hope she does!😂✌🏾😄

My exact feelings!
Their proposal is on UA-cam as well! Just search for Linda and Wale

Beautiful love story and prophetic testimony 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🤧😍😍
Thank you for tuning in!
Loved this, thank you Ashley. Beautiful couple, love the playing hard to get story because sometimes fear can cause this. I’m always sceptical about “God told me this” stories but this was a nice union.

This was right on time. Thank you Ashely, Wale and Linda. Great Interview! Very encouraging as I am a single woman 5'10 and waiting on who God has for me. Not settling or limiting God in this area.
I’m glad God put them together ... even in spite of her silliness in the beginning .
This was a great interview. You're truly made for interviewing. thank you!
Hi lady Ashley greetings in Christ , thank you so much for sharing this beautiful love story of Linda & Wale truly encouraging for me.

This popped up at the right time. Thanks for sharing your story☺️
So happy it encouraged you!
This is so encouraging ; watching all the way from South Africa!
I’m trying to figure out if his sheets in the vision God gave to Linda were really creme color? 😜 lol but what a beautiful love story! All Glory to God❤️🙌🏾
I was looking for this comment. When was the vision confirmed? I hope she answers in the comments
I’m 6’2 and I just said my future husband going to be short. Now I’m thinking 🤔.
Thanks for bringing Dating With Purpose back!💕😊👏🏿
What an amazing couple
Thank you for being honest and thanks Ashley for this episode,
wow. i absolutely love everything about these two. Really got me thinking about a lot of things especially after being single for like 5 years lol. I still have a lot of questions, but these episodes are really helpful.
Wait, persist and don’t give up!
God is amazing and faithful God ❤️
What a lovely couple, thanks Ashley for this series.
You are so welcome! Thank you for tuning in!
So glad this series is back!
I missed this series so much. Beautiful couple.

This was my favorite episode!
Wow. Such a blessing. Love these episodes.
I loved this. Thank you Ashley 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
This blessed me !
Thank you for sharing😊. I’ve truly enjoyed it🙏🏽😌
Such a awesome story
Great Episode.
Go fam!
I'll keep waiting on the Lord for Him to remember me in this area of marriage.
This one really encouraged me. Thank you!
And to think I wasn't going to watch it🤦🏾♀️
Something seems very immature and ungodly about how she acted in the beginning. For me, those behaviors would have been red flags. Character is Godly and key!
Great video! But Linda, when did you develop romantic feelings for Wale?
This was good, I appreciate your questions and their feedback!
Great interview!! ♥️
They need a youtube!!!!!!

Hmmmm 🥴🥴🥴🥴
I love their story. And they are a beautiful couple. However, I don’t believe that God choose our partner because you would give him the responsibility if it does not work.
Dang! she made his life a nightmare aha! mercy!
She wasn't that into him.. 😂😂😂
L P T - I guess that there ARE guys who put up with that . . . .
Wale did you grow up in Ghana? The accent
Hmm... he's a skeptic. Interesting.
He was searching for truth when they met but based on what I heard he’s not a skeptic she said he’s a powerful man of God
Great testimony although I wish Linda was more enthused about sharing her story
I don't like her attitude. So ungrateful! If I was him I would have dropped her.
C D - It is the WONDERFUL game that men get to play . . . .
This gurl is ridiculous. God loves us all smh. Im embarrass
In what way is she ridiculous??
????
If I had seen a guy taller than me I would run to him not from him.. Cootles to her
While I felt she was a bit much in how she handled him in the beginning, it was her journey.
