As a viewer I like the 2 pound rule along with the heavy hitters. I feel it brings out the talent of how good you guys really are. The final day is the best thing to watch in fishing.
Forgot to add this * I don't like the no talk rule at all with other angler's why simple thats part of the dock talk and strategy " do u use dock talk or not * brain games
Glad you're doing well after all the health issues. Happy to see you on the water. Love those proficiency rods. Bought one of the Heavys and it has become one of my favorite for flipping. Hope you have a great year this year.
Also you're right about the High school tournaments. My daughter is on her HS team wish it wasn't her senior year. Every tournament we have been to had had over 120 boats. It's awesome to see.
Thanks for your videos of practice, it allows me to watch and learn. Glad to see you turn your health around as well David, I just had my first heart catheter last week, due to coronary disease, I am paying close attention to my heart ❤️ and health. I definitely want be around for my family, and I still wanna catch a double digit bass, and fish with you again 😜🎣🔨🎣💯😎😜
Thank you for sharing David. As a struggling kayak angler, I appreciate how a professional angler adjusts on the fly to create the greatest opportunity for catch success. Wind and choppy water like you were fishing in at the beginning is a bit much for me.
Keeper size of 1.5 or 1.75 seems to make sense. Really enjoyed your commentary and insights during the NPFL at Eufaula. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Good luck at Sam Rayburn. And I enjoyed your presentation at Fisherman's Central in Port Clinton.
Man...that’s my home lake, I travel 100% for work and I’m taking 2 weeks off starting wed to fish. I hope the lake resets a little after the whacking it took last week. My dad and bud were out thur and said they could hardly fish cuz they had 50 boats around them at all times. I have 3 surrounding lakes tho that are prime. Just this year largest bass caught this century was caught in one and of course there’s always fork.
If you drop it to 1.5 during the summer the off shore guys will run the weight up. They can get on a school of fish and catch 1.5s every cast almost. The 2 pound minimum makes it better "tv" as well.
Yep welcome to bass fishing tournaments in 2021 it's gotten so popular I think because of UA-cam and the pandemic we fish USA bass and tournaments it's just a small amateur circuit that exists here in the Midwest across several States we used to get on a good day in the small lakes division we would have maybe 10 too15 boats . And when I'm talking small lake I mean the lakes we fish are the smallest one we fish on is 80 acres probably the biggest one we fish on is 320 acres this year it has been ridiculous we've had 20 to 30 boats at every single event and on these hundred to 150 acre lakes which is the average one we fish you can't go anywhere I mean everything is covered up and gets absolutely piss-pounded I believe that these little lakes here in southeast Kansas don't have the keeper population for one or the bass population in general to support a tournament of that size and it's absolutely a nightmare if you don't catch your limit by 11:00 in the morning chances are you're not going to get a bite for the rest of the day the last three that I fished in I've talked to pretty much everybody that was in those tournaments and we've got about half our field zeroing in these tournaments they'll be one guy that will catch a big kicker fish and have a limit and there might be a handful of limits behind him and here in Kansas they got to be 15 in and everybody else is struggling to catch one to three and a lot of people don't catch a keeper I'm hoping that they break up the small lakes division and do something different next year or find some bigger lakes for us to fish on
Rayburn is limited on fish between 2 and 3 pound because so many people keep fish here. I think it should be whatever the minimum limit size is on the lake your on. It would have been interesting to see what the total weight would have been. Lots of the anglers were catching 30 to 50 fish per day. Rayburn is not as easy a lake to catch bigguns as its made out to be. It is because of all these huge strings that the word is that Rayburn is easy to catch huge fish. It aint that way as lots found out. This lake gets incredible pressure and a lot of fish are taken out of the lake each year. I would love to see what Rayburn would do if the minimum length was raised or a slot was started. I know that's not popular, but just imagine what would happen. You think lake Fork is incredible, Rayburn would put Fork to shame in just a few years. I enjoyed the tournament anyway and it was a bit of a reality lesson for a lot of pros. Watch the tournament totals and see how many big strings their are. It is usually about 25% of the field that catch a really good string. Fish on and good luck!
as a bodybuilding enthusiasts, since you're doing keto, having a meat high in fat 1 or 2 times a day will greatly help with energy. animal fats are a great energy source that the body burns very well when consumed in healthy amounts, especially since you're not eating carbs, don't be afraid of the bacon lol.
Well David, I agree that 2lbs. may be a little tough for limited size on all lakes. True most lakes cannot produce enough 2lb's for an interesting tourney, but, I hope that they don't follow BASS and make it 12ins. because I watched their last tourney where they weighed in some 14, and 15 ounce fish!!! Now this was ridiculous and shameful for supposedly PRO FISHERMEN!! I fish RAYBURN and TOLEDO BEND all the time and sometimes 2lb. fish are hard to come by, but sometimes they are plentiful. You guys happened catch RAYBURN in the middle of a cold frontal passage this happens on all lakes!!! SAM RAYBURN has been great this spring, just look at the big fish that was caught here this pre spawn up till now. Sorry for my long saga but I guess what I 'm really saying is I agree with the 2lb. limit, but I can go along with 1.5 also. Thanks for the great video!!!
I like the 2 lbs minimum as a viewer.. but watching live I can hear the frustration in your guys voice.. hearing 1lbs 15 oz has to be gut wrenching for you guys..
Why so much boats cause yall always go to same same same old lakes year after year after year the home lake thing is all you guys who been pro for 10 years plus all lakes or home lakes.... yes not yells fault LOT GOES INTO PICKING LAKES FOR SEASON FROM CITIES AND STATES HELPING OUT BUT MY GOD BE NICE TO SEE OTHER LAKES
Nothing better than getting personal instructions from the best and I don't even have to pay for it! Lol - 👊 go get em DD!!!!
Lol me too
Blessings on you and your family !

100000000%%%% agree 2lb rule is great shoot heavy hitters should be 4lb rule

@@captainron3494 I don't believe a word anyone says. I only trust a couple of people.

Nicely done. The wacky worm is deadly. I've had diabetes since I was fourteen and it is definately a life change. You got this!
I totally agree with you on keeper size .
Hopeing you win the next one, and I got another one of your spinning rods for shakeyheads and love it too
What's your suggestion for a jerkbait rod?
Loving the food talk 🤙🏼

Another informative video son! Agree with size to fit the lake.

I think it should be the size limit of the lake not a 2 lb limit

That was the great skip on youtube at 17:18 !!!!!
I agree with 1.5 lb limit

I live in California so the 2 lbs limit is good for this area but not all states and lakes have fish like we do here.
I agree with Cwfwtx. You guys are pros and should go by the 2 lb min. The non pros have it hard enough to catch 14in fish. Just my thoughts
1 pound, 2 pound 5 pound bass,
It dont matter Dudley gonna whip their...
Look into a protein bar called "Built Bars.
I think there shouldn't be a minimum weight, but a fish must meet the lake's length rules to be scorable. Measure, weigh, mark it, release.
Rayburn a bit sporty early.
After a full season on that format have you changed anything about the way you practice?
I think it should be the lake min. If that fish is under 2 lbs so be it.
2 lbers is the way to go
Rayburn is limited on fish between 2 and 3 pound because so many people keep fish here. I think it should be whatever the minimum limit size is on the lake your on. I agree with 1.8 on 14 inch lakes. But lord please stop smacking the gum when videoing. Lol
Please just cut out the nutritional "advise" because its completly wrong and your own body is the perfect proof of that brother!
Do you just eat lunch meat wrapped with cheese?
