No problem and thank you for watching our channel
You are amazing I have a pair that had loose eye pieces and I love that pair but it was loose so it irritated me but now they are perfect
Thank you for watching our channel, and bigger thank you for the kind words. Glad to be of help
I can’t take off the center piece lol
I got it, thanks
how did you remove that center piece, mine is not getting off
Wouldn't a touch of low-strength thread lock be a good idea to prevent a recurrence?
Should really stay in place once done. But guess it would not do any harm. Thank you for watching our channel
I tightened the centre screw and now the focus wheel doesn't move freely.
Even a slight loosening causes the eye pieces to wobble all over the place again.
Any ideas? Do I need to also adjust the centre screw at the other end of the central column?
Sorry can not comment without having them with me. Sometimes where the brackets that connect the eyepiece to the centre column can come loose, become weak and break.
me salvaste la vida!
Glad to be of help. Thank you for watching
this video made me realize i dont have that metal ring under the screw. I think i can buy it at a hardware store and that should keep my lenses from falling out.
Mine don't appear to have a removable cover. There's a cover at the other end. My wheel is just spinning freely and the whole eyepiece section pulls out on the rod going into the part under the screw you're tightening.. eek!
Thx bro!
Glad to be of help, and thank you for watching our channel
I have a Selsi 20x70 binocular. I have a problem about double vision in binocular.
Thnks!
Mine has a zoom lever and that’s the part that has jammed. Any suggestions that might help. Don’t have any place who does repairs in a 100 mile radius of where I live.
Difficult to say without having them with me. If they were a budget binoculars may be best to get a new set as repairs can cost £$50+ .
Like new!
I broke that part connecting to the turning thing, the entire lense came out what to do?
How tight should I tighten the screw?
Use common sense. Just enough to do the job. Don`t over tighten and risk stripping the thread
Thanks 😁🤗🤗
No problem 😊

How do i fix mine, my binoculars are from my grandpa's by the looks of it i think its a military type of binoculars, now the problem is it has a little compass attached to where i should have the screw to tighten the lens wobble and its like the little compass is on top of the screw and is covered in glass how do i remove it?
Hard to tell without having the binoculars in my hands. With them being old military bins, I would guess they need inspection by a specialist binocular repair centre as they may need "re-gassing"
I posted a short vid showing the problem of my binoculars on my channel, mind checking it out
Cuz if i needed to go somewhere to get it fixed on a shop or smth i might just buy a new one tbh
Difficult to tell from the video. But I am guessing the compass is glued / push, clipped in place ? . As with all these things, ask yourself the question, is it worth the risk dismantling if still useable. Most budget binoculars, where your compass is , has a plastic cover that simply can be prised out, as per the set I demonstrated on
@@44messier thanks for the info, its just a glued compass (i might've broke it tho😂) i removed it suddenly whilst trying to get it off by the sides now i cleaned both lenses and now their tight
Would buy again to share with husband birding
