But clips from different stages in different countries, and that these cars are not built like normal cars ,they think people are dying in the little crashes, because they are comparing them to normal cars
Rally sports is something that is not followed in India so they won’t understand those reinforced chassis and all. I doubt even the people behind the camera are aware of it. They should be shown inside of the car. Those are not normal cars. They are so scared of little snow. Here in Finland that's nothing. I have driven in much much worse conditions.

My dad was a Bilcross driver when I was young, it's a form of Rallycross, only done with cheap used road cars instead of expensive purpose-built rally cars, and he was also a firefighter (now retired.) They would get yelled at if they drove like that, as you're meant to arrive safely rather than risking everything to get there fast. Also, I hope someone told them that modern rally cars have roll cages (basically a metal care that protects the people inside the car,) and safety gear keeping the driver and co-driver safe, so one of them dying is incredibly rare now, though as with everything, not impossible.
@@Glee73 Well, crashing is frowned upon, my dad was an aggressive driver and would get black flagged for pushing people entering corners slower than him. :P
For the record, all the drivers love life, driving just makes them enjoy it more. As for the hospital work, it doesnt pay anywhere near as much as racing does.
I've watched quite a few of these "villagers react to..." videos now. It is touching to see the respect they have for each other and a far more gentle demeanour than we post-modern world dwellers are accustomed to. They are also utterly humane. I find it very edifying as well as humourous to watch their reactions.
These races are about 3 hours. They race the clock, not other drivers, each car is sent off on it's own at intervals so the race goes on all all day, into the night and into the next day until every entry has run the course, there could 70+ drivers entered but only a certain number of them can be on a course at any one time.
Please let them know how safe these drivers really are. There's no need for them to suffer wondering if the drivers had died. Otherwise, great video as always!
One thing I love about youtube is seeing how different ethnicities and cultures react to different things, love the outlooks. Awesome channel! And they are usually going 140-180kmph

Rally philosophy is what the difference is between matches and fightings, one is rehearsal the other is for real. Ultimate challenge for drivers or/and navigators, these people are the next level skills.
It's not quite as dangerous as it looks. The drivers have bucket seats, six-point seat belts, fireproof clothing. The cars are reinforced, have roll cages and a few extras. Most of the time, spectators who are wrong or too close to the track have an accident. Drivers rarely have serious accidents.
Louise Cook is a British WRC driver, she's never won a race but she's got one of the best custom racing sim set-ups on YT. Her channel is called Cookies And Cars.
I think it's worth mentioning for those who don't know that WRC, despite still being very dangerous, is much safer than the (in)famous Group B, which was shown in a previous vid by you guys. Nowadays, WRC cars are limited to about 380 hp, according to what I checked on their website, whereas Group B models were *unlimited* , typically varying from 350 to over 500, sometimes 600 hp, depending on the car, specifications, etc. To have an idea, back in 1986, Henri Toivonen raced his Lancia Delta S4 around the Estoril track in Portugal, and set a laptime that would put him among the 10 first spots...in *Formula 1* !! And this was during a time when F1 cars were putting out way over 1,000 hp on qualifying (some were known to reach 1,500 hp!), when the focus is to get the very best laptime possible, no matter what. The gap between rally cars and Formula 1 cars, back then, wasn't as big as today. Anyways, even still being very dangerous, today's cars also benefit from major improvements (30+ years) in all other areas, such as aerodynamics, brakes, tires, suspensions, better/lighter/stronger materials for the car and the rollcage, etc, making much easier for pilots and co-pilots/navigators to come out unscathed or just mildly injured from even the most astonishing crashes that would've meant certain death, were they driving a Group B car, for example. Again, huge risks remain, but the chances of survival have increased greatly.
That´s the reason why i suggested the Group B specifically, no limits for the cars, created some absolute Legends, some of Flesh some of Steel, but all remarkable. I kinda wish they´d bring that back, minus the Audience ^^ They were just insane. There is just something about a Group of people building a car that can manage all these crazy performances and Pilots who are able to push the car to it´s absolute limit. Walter Röhrl´s record at Pikes Peak is still unbroken, in a Combustion Engine. And was only broken by a vehicle that didn´t have to deal with the number one concern regarding the performance of the Vehicle. Oxygen. It´s astounding how long it held.
@@iron_side5674 I agree with you. Sometimes it's good to 'let the minds go wild' when it comes to imposing limits. As always, it's a double-edged sword, with risks and benefits. Hopefully the guys see this as I would like to explain a bit about it. WRC or World Rally Championship is a rally racing competition that usually takes place on man made roads. Rain, snow, dirt, mud or even tarmac, the racers compete from a point A to B stages to see who will get the fastest time. Rally racing has been around for decades and is quite popular in many countries. Don't worry about the crashes and cars flipping over.
