Amazing that Japanese optical, camera and fine machinery is so renouned but they couldn't track that rocket worth a damn, or keep it in focus.

We are all spoiled by SpaceX's cams mounted all over the rocket, and camera enthusiasts here in the Weast will spend tens of thousands for tracking cam camera costs. All that aside, I am thrilled to watch Japan finally take up the challenge from the Chinese. Go Team Japan!

It went up. Its mission was to put its payload in orbit. ALOS-4 is an Earth observation satellite.
