How can I customize what I want to come out on the report when I print it out? For example mine shows me what I sold during the hours I’m open. I’d rather have it how me what I sold instead in the category’s. Just like you have in your video where can I go to teach me how to change it?
I think you are just taking the hourly report perhaps. Take a financial report, PLU report, group report and see which you like. Most people use financial report at least
Yes and no, all depends on the memory allocation and if you have taken those reports before. This machine is capable of Z1, Z2, and in some total Z3, Z4, and Z5. However most users never allocated the memory for those counters. Those reports will have a counter so it will help you know how many times they were taken as there is no date from the last time taken unless you have the hard copy of the last reports. Unless you really understand Z reports in a cash register it may be hard to understand. Time to upgrade to the newer SAM4s that allows reports via date range www.cashregisterguys.com/sam4s-sap-630r.html

Yep, that is common in older machines. You accidentally started an open order that must be cleared before you can Z. You can also program the machine to make sure that no longer happens.
